A tactile sensor includes a support member with a curved surface, a sensor body disposed on the support member, and a buffer member with which the sensor body is coated, the buffer member being configured to, in response to contacting an object, transfer a force applied from the object to the sensor body. The sensor body includes an insulating layer, multiple first resistive portions of which a longitudinal direction is directed to a first direction of each and that are juxtaposed on one side of the insulating layer, multiple second resistive portions of which a longitudinal direction of each is directed to a second direction intersecting with the first direction and that are juxtaposed on another side of the insulating layer, and a pair of electrodes provided at both end portions of each of the first resistive portions and the second resistive portions. The press force applied from the object is transferred to the sensor body, and at least one given resistive portion among the first resistive portions and the second resistive portions is pressed, so that a resistance value between a given pair of electrodes associated with the pressed at least one given resistive portion among the first resistive portions and the second resistive portions constantly varies in accordance with a magnitude of the press force.

Tactile sensor

A strain inducing body includes a strain inducing portion. The strain inducing portion includes a movable portion configured to receive a force in a predetermined axial direction or a moment about the predetermined axial direction and to deform in accordance with the received force or moment. The strain inducing portion includes a non-movable portion configured to receive the force or moment and to not deform in accordance with the received force or moment. The strain inducing body includes an input transmitter coupled to the non-movable portion and including an accommodating portion for accommodating a sensor chip detects the force or moment. The input transmitter receives the force or moment and to not deform in accordance with the received force or moment. The input transmitter transmits deformation of the strain inducing portion to the sensor chip.

Strain inducing body and force sensor device with improved load bearing

A sensor chip includes multiple sensing blocks each of which includes two or more T-patterned beam structures. Each T-patterned beam structure includes strain-detecting elements, at least one first detection beam, and a second detection beam extending from the first detection beam in a direction perpendicular to the first detection beam. Each T-patterned beam structure includes a connection portion formed by coupling ends of second detection beams in respective T-patterned structures, the connection portion including a force point portion. The sensor chip is configured to detect up to six axes relating to predetermined axial forces or moments around the predetermined axes, based on a change in an output of each of the strain-detecting elements, the output of each strain-detecting element changing in accordance with an input applied to a given force point portion.

Sensor chip and force sensor device with increased fracture resistance

A sensor chip includes a substrate, first supporting portions, a second supporting portion around which the first support portions are disposed, the second supporting portion being disposed at a center of the substrate, first detecting beams each connecting the first supporting portions, which are mutually adjacent, second detecting beams disposed in parallel with the first detecting beams between the first detecting beams and the second supporting portion, force points disposed in the first detecting beams so as to be applied with force, and a plurality of strain detecting elements disposed a predetermined positions of the first detecting beams and the second detecting beams, wherein the plurality of strain detecting elements includes a first detecting portion having a strain detecting element capable of detecting force in a first direction, and a second detecting portion having a strain detecting element disposed at a position symmetric relative to the first detecting portion.

Sensor chip and force sensor device

A slip sensor includes a first insulating layer, a second insulating layer, and a member configured to elastically deform in accordance with a force. A difference between a resistance value set between a given pair of electrodes associated with a given first resistive portion and a resistance value set between a given pair of electrodes associated with a given second resistive portion facing the given first resistive portion continuously varies in accordance with elastic deformation of the member that is caused by a shear force.

Slip sensor

Cosmetic composition

A gate valve that opens or closes opening parts of a valve box with a valve plate includes a valve rod that moves upward or downward and tilt inside the valve box; a drive mechanism that moves the valve rod upward or downward by a predetermined stroke and tilts the valve rod; a stopper mechanism that includes a spring return type stopper pin, and in which, when compressed air is supplied, a pin rod of the stopper pin moves forward in a horizontal direction, and a cam plate connected to the valve rod or a load receiving roller attached to the cam plate collides with the pin rod to regulate an upward movement of the valve rod. When the supply of the compressed air is stopped, the pin rod moves backward in the horizontal direction due to a reaction force of the spring, so that the cam plate or the load receiving roller does not collide with the pin rod and the regulation on the upward movement of the valve rod is released; and a vibration reducing device that reduces vibration.

Gate valve

A sensor chip includes first support parts arranged at four corners and a second support part arranged at a center of a substrate, first detecting beams connecting adjacent first support parts to each other, second detecting beams provided in parallel to the first detecting beams between the first and second support parts, third detecting beams connecting the first and second connecting beams, in sets of the first and second detecting beams provided in parallel, force application points, arranged at intersections of the first and third detecting beams, and applied with the forces, and a plurality of distortion detection devices arranged at predetermined positions on the first, the second and the third detecting beams.

Sensor chip, flexure element, and force sensor device

A force sensor includes a sensor chip that detects displacements in multiple axial directions, and a strain body that transfers force applied thereto to the sensor chip. The strain body includes a sensor chip mount on which the sensor chip is mounted, multiple columns disposed around and apart from the sensor chip mount, and connecting beams via which the sensor chip mount is fixed to the columns.

Force sensor

A hot rolled steel sheet has a chemical composition including, by mass %, C: 0.060% to 0.120%; Si: 0.10% to 0.70%; Mn: 1.00% to 1.80%; P: 0.10% or less; S: 0.010% or less; Al: 0.01% to 0.10%; N: 0.010% or less; Nb: 0.010% to 0.100%, wherein Nb is contained so that content of solute Nb is 5% or more relative to the total Nb content; the balance being Fe and incidental impurities. The hot rolled steel sheet has a microstructure containing ferrite of not more than 15 &#x3bc;m in average crystal grain diameter by a volume fraction of not less than 75%, the balance being low-temperature-induced phases. The hot rolled steel sheet can be suitably utilized for manufacturing a cold rolled steel sheet or hot-dip galvanized steel sheet having a tensile strength of 590 MPa or more, excellent in material homogeneity and capable of giving excellent cold rolling property.
