A vehicle lower structure includes a plurality of spat body portions and a guide portion. The spat body portions are provided side by side in a vehicle longitudinal direction on a vehicle front side of a wheel, are protruded from an underfloor of the vehicle toward a vehicle lower side, and extend in a vehicle width direction. The guide portion constitutes vehicle-width-direction outer regions of the spat body portions in at least one of second and subsequent rows from a vehicle rear side, is inclined toward the vehicle rear side and outward in the vehicle width direction to guide a traveling wind, and has a vehicle-width-direction outer end that is arranged more outward in the vehicle width direction than a vehicle-width-direction outer end of the spat body portion that is adjacent to the vehicle rear side.

Vehicle lower structure

The light distribution region of headlights () is divided into a plurality of regions, and each of the divided regions can be irradiated or non-irradiated by light, and the light distribution characteristic can be changed separately for each divided region. The radiation or non-radiation of light to each divided region is controlled by a light distribution control ECU (). Besides, light reflection/emission regions (hatched portions in FIG.) are detected by detecting light regions of reflection, such as white lines, reflectors, etc., and light regions of light emission, such as street lights or the like, are detected. Then, divided regions corresponding to light distribution region irradiated by the headlights () which correspond to the detected light reflection/emission regions are specifically determined, and the headlights () are controlled so that the light radiated to the specifically determined divided regionsbecomes dark in light distribution relative to other regions.

Vehicle lighting device and lighting method

A vehicle interior-exterior structure of the present invention is equipped with a main body formed from a resin foam material, a covering formed from a resilient material to cover the main body, and a void formed between the main body and the covering. The vehicle interior-exterior structure is also equipped with a front bumper cover supported by a vehicle body and a pressure sensor that outputs a signal corresponding to the internal pressure of the void. A reaction force is obtained from the main body when a colliding body collides with the location where the void is positioned in the front bumper and the void undergoes compression deformation. The degrees of freedom for the placement position of the void, namely for the placement position of an impact detection region, can accordingly be raised.

A lighting device for a vehicle includes: a light source; a light guide member that has a light-introducing part provided in a back surface side through which the light of the light source is introduced and finally emits the light from a front surface side; a part near the light-introducing part being thicker than an edge part of the light guide member, a plurality of reflecting parts and connecting parts being alternately formed continuously toward a direction separate from the light-introducing part in the back surface side, the reflecting parts respectively reflecting on interfaces the introduced light reaching there to form the light in the direction of the front surface of the light guide member; and a housing that is connected to a position between the edge part of the back surface of the light guide member and the light-introducing part and attached to the back surface side of the light guide member to house the light source.

Lighting device for vehicle

A vehicle lighting system having: a light guiding member having a front face as a light emitting surface, a rear face having a plurality of reflecting portions inclined to the front face, and a side face; and a light source disposed opposite to the side face. An angle &#x3b8; defined between the front face and the side face is designed such that, of external lights to enter into the light guiding member, a light to travel directly to the side face can be totally reflected on an interface of the side face.

Vehicle lighting system including a light guiding member

A vehicular illumination device includes a light distribution control unit, a determination unit and a control unit. The light distribution control unit performs an alteration control of a vehicular illumination unit so as to alter a light distribution with respect to an illumination object detected by a detection unit. When the illumination object ceases to be detected, the determination unit determines whether or not there is a need to maintain the alteration control in a current state. When it is determined that there is a need to maintain the alteration control in the current state, the control unit controls the light distribution control unit so as to maintain the alteration control in the current state.

Vehicular illumination device

In light that is irradiated from a front light of a vehicle illumination device, a portion thereof is modulated to include a light signal, and a camera captures light from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle illumination device identifies luminance point(s) in the captured images of the camera, and also detects for the light signal, and extracts the luminance point(s) in the captured images other than the luminance point(s) with the detected light signal. The vehicle illumination device identifies segmented region(s) in the light distribution range of the front light that correspond to the extracted luminance point(s), and control is undertaken of the light distribution such that the identified segmented regions are made in a non-illuminating state, and the segmented regions other than those identified are illuminated. By doing so, control of the light distribution for light that is irradiated from the vehicle itself may be prevented.

Vehicle illumination device, vehicle illumination control method and recording medium storing a vehicle illumination control program

A vehicular illumination system includes a vehicular illumination unit whose light distribution is changeable, a detection unit that detects an illumination target, and an acquisition unit that acquires load information representing a processing load when processing is performed to controls the light distribution of the vehicular illumination unit based on the relative displacement between the subject vehicle and the illumination target detected by the detection unit. Further, the vehicular illumination system includes a control unit that is capable of plural types of light distribution control, in each of which the processing load is different, and that controls the light distribution of the vehicular illumination unit by the light distribution control of a load corresponding to the processing load that is represented by the load information acquired by the acquisition unit.
