At least a surface of the second part has a porous portion, and at least an end face of the first end is exposed from the package body and is in contact with the external electrode.

Positive electrode active material for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries, and nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery

An electrolytic capacitor including: an element stack including a plurality of capacitor elements; a package body sealing the element stack; and a first and second external electrode. Each of the capacitor elements includes a first end at which the anode body is exposed, and a second end covered with the cathode section, with at least an end surface of the first end exposed from the package body. The capacitor elements include a first capacitor element in which the first end faces a first surface of the package body, and a second capacitor element in which the first end faces a second surface different from the first surface of the package body. The first and second capacitor elements stacked alternately. The first end of the first capacitor element and the first end of the second capacitor element are electrically connected to the first external electrode and the second external electrode, respectively.

Electrolytic capacitor

An electrolytic capacitor includes exterior body and an element stack body including a plurality of capacitor elements. Each of the plurality of capacitor elements includes an anode body, a dielectric layer, and a cathode part covering at least a part of the dielectric layer. The exterior body includes a first principal surface, a second principal surface intersecting the first principal surface, a third principal surface opposite to the first principal surface, and a fourth principal surface opposite to the second principal surface. In the lithium-transition metal composite oxide, when particles having a larger particle size than a volume-based 70% particle size (D70) are first particles and particles having a smaller particle size than a volume-based 30% particle size (D30) are second particles, a coverage ratio of B on surfaces of the second particle is larger than a coverage ratio of B on surfaces of the first particle by 5% or greater.

Positive electrode active material for non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, and non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery

A positive electrode active material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to a configuration includes a lithium-transition metal composite oxide containing nickel (Ni) in an amount of greater than or equal to 80 mol %, in which boron (B) is present at least on a particle surface of the lithium-transition metal composite oxide. In the lithium-transition metal composite oxide, when particles having a larger particle size than a volume-based 70% particle size (D70) are first particles and particles having a smaller particle size than a volume-based 30% particle size (D30) are second particles, a coverage ratio of B on surfaces of the first particles is larger than a coverage ratio of B on surfaces of the second particles by 5% or greater.

An advantage is to provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery with improved heat resistance. A positive electrode active material contains a lithium-transition metal composite oxide containing 80 mol % or more of Ni and 0.1 mol % to 1.5 mol % of B on the basis of the total number of moles of metal elements excluding Li, and B and at least one element (M1) selected from Groups 4 to 6 are present on at least the surfaces of particles of the composite oxide. When particles having a volume-based particle size larger than 70% particle size (D70) are first particles, and particles having a volume-based particle size smaller than 30% particle size (D30) are second particles, the molar fraction of M1 on the basis of the total number of moles of metallic elements excluding Li on the surfaces of the second particles is greater than that of the first particles.

A solid electrolytic capacitor having high reliability while maintaining suitable electrical characteristics, and a method for producing the same. The solid electrolytic capacitor includes a plurality of capacitor elements, an exterior body covering the plurality of capacitor elements, a contact layer metallic bonded to an anode terminal portion that is an end portion of the anode body, an anode-side electrode layer provided so as to cover the contact layer, a cathode-side electrode layer electrically connected to the cathode body, an anode-side external electrode provided on the surface of the anode-side electrode layer, and a cathode-side external electrode provided on the surface of the cathode-side electrode layer.

Solid electrolytic capacitor including a plurality of capacitor elements and method for producing the same

An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element, an exterior body that seals the capacitor element, and an external electrode. The capacitor element includes an anode foil, a dielectric layer, and a cathode part. The anode foil includes an anode lead-out part and a cathode forming part. The anode lead-out part has a first end of the anode foil. The cathode forming part has a second end of the anode foil. The dielectric layer is disposed on a surface of the cathode forming part. The cathode part covers at least part of the dielectric layer. The first end in the anode lead-out part protrudes from an end surface of the exterior body. At least part of the first end is in contact with the external electrode.
