A bicycle rear derailleur is basically provided with a base member, a cable operated structure, a movable member and a biasing member. The movable member is movably supported to the base member by the cable operated structure to move between a plurality of shift stage positions with respect to the base member. The biasing member is interposed between the first and second link members such that the movable member is biased towards one of a top shift stage position and a low shift stage position. The cable operated structure and the biasing member configured balance an operation energy used for shifting between each of the shift stage positions.

Bicycle rear derailleur

A bicycle rear derailleur is basically provided with a base member, a movable member and a moving mechanism. The movable member pivotally supports a chain guide. The moving mechanism is coupled between the base member and the movable member so that the movable member is movable relative to the base member. The chain guide includes a first guide plate, a second guide plate, a guide pulley rotatably disposed between the first and second guide plates and a tension pulley rotatably disposed between the first and second guide plates. The first and second guide plates are releasably coupled together by a tool-less connection.

A bicycle rear derailleur comprises a base member; a movable member that supports a chain guide including a pulley that rotates around a pulley axis, wherein the pulley has a pulley plane; and a linking member coupled between the base member and the movable member so that the chain guide moves laterally relative to the base member between a first lateral position and a second lateral position. The base member has a chain receiving space therein.

A bicycle rear derailleur comprises a base member, a movable member that supports a chain guide including a pulley that rotates around a pulley axis, and a linking member coupled between the base member and the movable member so that the chain guide moves laterally relative to the base member between a first lateral position and a second lateral position. Examples of features include the linking member being coupled to the base member through separate pivot pins, the linking member straddling the base member, and the base member having link coupling projections with different thicknesses.

A bicycle derailleur mounting structure includes a base member and a stopper. The base member includes a first portion configured for attachment to a bicycle frame. The first portion of the base member has a first side surface and a second side surface with an aperture extending between the first and second side surfaces. The stopper is coupled to the base member between the first and second side surfaces. The stopper is configured for setting an angular position of the base member relative to the bicycle frame.

Bicycle derailleur

A bicycle sprocket assembly includes a first sprocket, a second sprocket and at least one reinforcement member. The first sprocket includes a first main body and a first chain engagement portion. The second sprocket includes a second main body and a second chain engagement portion. The reinforcement member is coupled between the sprockets. Preferably, the reinforcement member is disposed in first and second apertures of the first and second sprockets at a radial location spaced radially outwardly of first and second inner end portions of the first and second sprockets. Preferably, a spacer is disposed between the first and second sprockets radially inwardly of the reinforcement member. The reinforcement member is preferably installable in the first and second apertures by a sliding movement generally perpendicular to a rotation axis of the first and second sprockets.

A bicycle base member adjustment assembly is provided for a base member of a rear derailleur. The bicycle base member adjustment assembly basically has a base member stopper plate, a biasing force adjustment member and a biasing force adjusting element. The biasing force adjusting element is operatively coupled between the base member stopper plate and the biasing force adjustment member to selectively set a relative angular position of the biasing force adjustment member relative to the base member stopper plate about a rotational axis of the base member. The base member stopper plate has a stopper that limits movement of the base member of the rear derailleur relative to the base member stopper plate. The biasing force adjustment member engages a biasing element of the base member of the rear derailleur. When the biasing force is adjusted, the position of the base member stopper plate is not changed.

A bicycle derailleur comprises a bracket adapted to be mounted to the frame; a base member supported by the bracket; a chain guide; and a coupling mechanism coupled between the base member and the chain guide so that the chain guide moves relative to the base member. The base member is supported at first and second lateral locations, wherein the bracket supports at least one of the first and second lateral locations of the base member.

Bicycle derailleur with protective support

A derailleur includes a base member for attachment to a bicycle frame and a movable member supporting a chain guide such that the chain guide moves laterally to shift a chain among a plurality of gears. The base member has a laterally inner surface and a laterally outer surface, and it includes a projection extending from one of the laterally inner surface and the laterally outer surface for engaging a corresponding recess in the frame.
