A display module includes a display panel including a flat region, and a bending region adjacent to the flat region. A protective layer is disposed on at least one side of the display panel. The protective layer includes a base curing layer disposed on the display panel. A plasma processing layer is disposed on the base curing layer.

A display device includes: a display panel having one face, and another face opposite to the one face; a functional layer on the one face of the display panel, and including a light-blocking material; and a display driving substrate on the other face of the display panel, and electrically connected to the display panel. The functional layer includes a first portion in contact with the display driving substrate, and a second portion spaced from the display driving substrate, and a hardness of the first portion is greater than a hardness of the second portion.

Display device and method for manufacturing the same

A method of fabricating an electronic device includes: fabricating a display module including a display panel, a protection film disposed on the display panel, and a cover panel disposed on the protection film, wherein the cover panel has an open portion partially exposing the protection film; forming a first resin on a first region of the open portion; forming a second resin on a second region; emitting a first UV ray to the first and second resins; placing a sensor module on the first resin; pressing the sensor module such that the first and second resins fill the first and second regions and a first filling layer and a second filling layer in the first region and the second region, respectively, are formed; and emitting a second UV ray to the second filling layer in the second region to cure the second filling layer.
