A foldable portable radio terminal comprising an upper housing, a lower housing and a hinge for connecting housings is provided, where an antenna is arranged adjacently to the hinge in the lower housing. A connection unit which connects an upper-housing circuit and a lower-housing circuit has a wiring length longer than a spacing between the upper-housing circuit and the lower-housing circuit. The connection unit has an inductance provided by a portion partially rolled up in spiral or in coil, which acts as a load impedance to a high-frequency current generated on the housing. The current that degrades antenna characteristics is reduced, and therefore the characteristics are improved.

To enable to provide an inhibitor switch capable of maintaining an accurate ON/OFF state for a long period of time regardless of wear of a moving contact and having high durability. The inhibitor switch includes a fixed contact and a moving contact; a base disk is projected with insulator portions formed by insulating members in correspondence with an ON/OFF switch position of the fixed contact constituting a boundary of contact and non-contact of the moving contact relative to the fixed contact; the moving contact is provided with a ride-on portion capable of riding on the insulator portion when the moving contact is slidingly moved relative to the fixed contact and the moving contact is disposed at the ON/OFF switch position of the fixed contact; the ride-on portion rides on the insulator portion; the moving contact is separated from and brought into non-contact with the fixed contact; and when the ride-on portion comes down from the insulator portion, the moving contact is brought into contact with the ON/OFF switch position of the fixed contact.

Inhibitor switch

An inhibiter switch is provided with a movable body 1 rotatable in accordance with an operating position of an automatic transmission device. The movable body 1 is supported rotatably by a cover 2 and a pole base 3 having magnetic sensors 9 disposed therein. A conductive body having a terminal 7b projected into a connector section 3c at one side thereof and a body section 7a electrically connected to the magnetic sensors 9 and exposed from a bottom surface 3d, is insert molded into the pole base 3. The pole base 3 forms an offset surface 3e exposing the body section 7a as a connection location with the conductive body 7 from the bottom surface 3d. The pole base 3 has notches 3f, 3g, 3h in which the magnetic sensors 9 are disposed, and a notch 3i in which a substrate 6 is disposed. The notches 3f, 3g, 3h, 3i are formed at the periphery of the offset surface 3e. The pole base 3 also forms a guide 3j for disposing the magnetic sensors 9 within the offset surface 3e. The inhibitor switch with this construction has contact sections formed with magnetic sensors, resulting in a low manufacturing cost and a high operating precision.
