An electrostatic atomizing device, which is capable of increasing the generation of a fine mist, while suppressing abnormal discharge and the generation of ozone. This electrostatic atomizing device is equipped with a plurality of atomizing electrodes, to which a high voltage is applied by a single high voltage generating circuit, counter electrodes disposed so as to face the atomizing electrodes; and a liquid transfer means for transferring a liquid (e.g., water) to each of the atomizing electrodes. The atomizing electrodes are connected in parallel to the high voltage generating circuit, and a resistive element for suppressing discharge current is inserted between the high voltage generating circuit and each of the atomizing electrodes.

Electrostatic atomizing device and air blower using the same

An electrostatically atomizing device capable of instantly giving an electrostatically atomizing effect without requiring a water tank. The electrostatically atomizing device includes an emitter electrode, an opposed electrode opposed to the emitter electrode, a water feeder configured to give water on the emitter electrode, and a high voltage source configured to apply a high voltage across said emitter electrode and said opposed electrode to electrostatically charge the water on the emitter electrode for spraying charged minute water particles from a discharge end of the emitter electrode. The water feeder is configured to condense the water on the emitter electrode from within the surrounding air, enabling to supply the water on the emitter electrode in a short time without relying upon an additional water tank. Thus, an atomization of the charged minute water particles can be obtained immediately upon use of the device.

Electrostatcially atomizing device

A hair dryer having a static atomizing device, which has the capability of generating an electrostatically charged microparticle mist of 3 nm to 100 nm. The static atomizing device has a pair of an atomizing electrode and a counter electrode, a tank for storing a liquid such as water; a liquid transport member for transport water from the tank to the atomizing electrode according to capillary phenomenon, and a voltage applying unit. When a high voltage is applied between the atomizing electrode and the counter electrode, while water being supplied to the atomizing electrode through the liquid transport member, the electrostatically charged microparticle mist is generated.

Hair dryer with static atomizing device

An electrostatically atomizing device includes an emitter electrode, an opposed electrode opposed to the emitter electrode, and a cooling means which condenses the water on the emitter electrode from within the surrounding air, and a high voltage source applying a high voltage across the emitter electrode and the opposed electrode to electrostatically charge the water for atomizing charged minute water particles from a discharge end of the emitter electrode. The device further includes a controller for discharging the charged minute water particles in a stable manner. The controller monitors a discharge current flowing between the two electrodes to control the cooling means for keeping the discharge current at a predetermined level, thereby regulating the atomizing amount of the charged minute particles from the emitter electrode.

Electrostatically atomizing device

A thermoelectric module is capable of successfully reducing the heat stress for increased reliability. The module includes a plurality of thermoelectric chips of P-type and N-type arranged in a matrix between sets of first and second contacts to form a series electrical circuit. The chips are arranged to give at least three chip arrays each having a limited number of the chips. A first carrier is provided on one side of the chips to carry the first contacts and to include first bridges each integrally joining two adjacent first contacts to define first discrete couples for electrical connection of the chips in each chip array. The first carrier further includes at least two inter-array bridges which are solely responsible for electrical interconnection between the adjacent chip arrays. On the opposite side of the chips, there are formed a plurality of second bridges each integrally joining the two adjacent second contacts to give second discrete couples for electrical connection of the two adjacent chips in each of the chip arrays. Thus, the inter-array bridges are formed only on one side of the chips for interconnection of the first contacts between the adjacent chip arrays. Therefore, the heat stress applied to the end of the chip array where the two adjacent chip arrays are interconnected can be well relieved on the side of the second contacts in which the second discrete couples are kept totally isolated from each other.
