An evaporation concentration mechanism is realized that can control a depressurization rate by an inexpensive and simple mechanism to inhibit bumping at the time of evaporation and concentration. The evaporation concentration mechanism includes a reaction vessel that holds a sample solution, a depressurization channel connected to the reaction vessel, and a depressurization source that is connected to the reaction vessel via the depressurization channel and depressurizes the inside of the reaction vessel. The evaporation concentration mechanism further includes at least one of solenoid valves provided in the depressurization channel, and a control unitthat controls an operation of the solenoid valves. The control unitintermittently opens and closes the solenoid valves during a depressurization period in which the inside of the reaction vessel is depressurized by the depressurization source.

The objective of the present disclosure is to provide a technique for reducing a quantity of magnetic particles remaining on a reaction vessel wall surface in a cleaning step for reducing, in a stepwise manner, an amount of a magnetic particle solution in the reaction vessel. The automated analysis device according to the present disclosure causes an agitating mechanism to operate in such a way that a magnetic substance remaining on the wall surface of the vessel in the previous cleaning step is captured by a cleaning solution in the next cleaning step.

Thus the microparticles tend to deposit on the bottom of the receptacle leading to an aggregation of the microparticles because of weak interactions. To obtain representative measurements a homogeneous distribution of the microparticles in the buffer fluid is necessary to ensure a constant concentration of microparticles for each analysis cycle. It is further necessary to provide disaggregation of the microparticles, which is also realized by stirring the fluid. Stirring is conducted with a rotational frequency that is adapted to the amount of fluid to be stirred.

The flow cell includes a unit which measures a value of a current flowing between electrodes at the time of applying a voltage, a unit which records the measured current value, a unit which compares the recorded current value with a current value set separately as a determination standard, and a unit which determines whether the current value measured at a cycle of a determination target and the recorded current value is normal by the comparison.

The analyzer includes a drive mechanism having a stepping motor as a power source. The drive mechanism transmits power from a rotation output shaft of the stepping motor to a moving unit for executing a target motion via at least one power transmission unit. The amount of idling of the moving unit stemming from the stepping motor getting driven in reverse is calculated from the amount of movement of the moving unit, from the amount of pulses fed to the stepping motor, and from the amount of remaining pulses so as to perform motion control of the drive mechanism accordingly.
