A connector includes: a connector body including a lever arm having a first lock portion locked to a to-be-locked member of a mating connector when the connector body is fitted to the mating connector; and a second lock portion provided on the connector body so as to be slidable in a width direction orthogonal to a fitting direction to the mating connector. When the connector body is fitted to the mating connector, the second lock portion is released from a locked state to the connector body, by the mating connector, is slid in the width direction to a position where the second lock portion interferes with the lever arm, and restricts a release operation of the first lock portion from the to-be-locked member.

Connector

A connector assembly includes a housing which includes a box portion storing path to store a box portion formed in a vertically or horizontally asymmetric shape and a slot formed perpendicular to an extending direction of a box storing path and a retainer which includes a box portion opening to which the box portion is inserted in a case where the retainer is inserted into the slot and located at a temporary locking position. When a terminal is inserted into the box portion storing path from the box portion opening, the box portion opening is shaped to prevent the insertion when the terminal is rotated about the insertion axis of the terminal from an appropriate position.

Connector assembly

A cover member which is to be mated with a connector member and has a cover housing to be attached to an attached member. The cover housing has a plurality of attaching parts for attachment to the attached member. The attaching parts are formed so that the directions of mating with the connector member are different directions with respect to the attached member.

Cover member, cover unit, and connector

Provided is a connector including first and second connector members connected to each other. The first connector member is formed with a protrusion. The second connector member includes a lever member rotatably provided thereto. The lever member is formed with at least one claw-shaped part configured to lock the protrusion. When connecting the first and second connector members, the lever member is rotated so that the protrusion locked in the claw-shaped part of the lever member is drawn in a connecting direction, and the first and second connector members are moved in the connecting direction and brought into contact with each other. After the movement is restrained, the lever member is further rotated so that the lever member is fixed while being elastically deformed.

Connector having high vibration resistance and durability

Provided is a connector in which first and second connector members are fitted with each other. The first connector member includes a first housing formed with a protrusion. The second connector member includes a second housing; hood member; elastic member; and locking mechanism. The hood member is to cover and to be mounted with the second housing. The elastic member is to be provided between the hood member and second housing. The locking mechanism is to lock the protrusion. The locking mechanism is operated so that the protrusion is drawn in a fitting direction. After the movement of the first and second connector members in the fitting direction is restrained, the locking mechanism is operated so that the hood member is moved while compressing the elastic member, which fix the locking mechanism with the elastic member being compressed.

Connector having a mechanism to lock two connector members together

A printed circuit board connector is equipped with a housing and plurality of contacts. The housing has an insertion chamberinserted by the mating-side connector, and a plurality of contact-insertion holes inserted by the contacts. The contact has a base portion, a contact-connecting portion that connects with a mating-side contact, and a lead portion that is solder-bonded to the printed circuit board. The base portion and the housing have a contact lance and level that engage with each other so that the contact does not move in an insertion direction to the contact insertion hole or a reverse direction, and the contact lance and level swingably hold the base portion inside the contact-insertion hole so that the lead portion approaches and separates from the printed circuit board surface.

Printed circuit board connector

A female housing of the female connector has a slider slidably installed in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal joining direction. The slider includes a first cam provided with a first ridge portion, and a pair of opposing first and second slanting portions extending from the first ridge portion. The male housing of the male connector is formed with a second cam on an outer wall surface thereof. The second cam provided with a second ridge portion, a third slanting portion coming into abutment and slidably contacting with the first slanting portion of the slider, and a fourth slanting portion being slidably in contact with the second slanting portion and pressed and retained by the second slanting portion. Thus a half-fitted state can be detected and the connectors are prevented from loosening.
