A dog clutch of a vehicle power transmission device includes a sleeve, the dog clutch connecting/disconnecting a first rotating shaft to/from a first gear by moving the sleeve between a neutral position at which inner circumferential teeth formed on an inner circumferential side of the sleeve are not meshed with outer circumferential teeth on a side surface side of the first gear and an engagement position at which the inner circumferential teeth are meshed with the outer circumferential teeth, the inner circumferential teeth and the outer circumferential teeth having inclined surfaces tooth thicknesses of which become larger as the inner circumferential teeth and the outer circumferential teeth approach each other, and when the sleeve is moved to an engagement position by a shift fork, the sleeve being held in contact with a side surface of the first gear.

Dog clutch of vehicle power transmission device

A casing structure of a vehicular power transmitting device, includes: a casing; a breather plug; and a stationary removal preventive member, wherein the breather plug includes an attaching portion and a body portion, the body portion of the breather plug including an abutting section which abuts on the removal preventive member when the attaching portion of the breather plug is moved relative to the communication hole in a direction toward the outside atmosphere. The removal preventive member is positioned relative to the communication hole such that the attaching portion of the breather plug is located to keep the breather plug in communication with the communication hole when the abutting section of the body portion comes into abutting contact with the removal preventive member.

Casing structure of vehicular power transmitting device

A fitting clearance of a relief valve functions as an air bleeding orifice. When a discharge pressure reaches a relief pressure so that the relief valve turns into a relief state, a spool is moved so as to limit flow-out of hydraulic oil through the fitting clearance. As a result, generation of air trapping is suppressed by air bleeding function of the relief valve in a closed state. Air in a discharge oil passage is discharged quickly in the initial period of the startup of an electric oil pump, thereby improving rise-up of discharge pressure. During normal pump operation in which the relief valve is held in a relief state, pressure loss due to flow out of the hydraulic oil from the fitting clearance is suppressed and consequently, an electric oil pump having substantially the same discharge performance as conventionally can be used.

Hydraulic circuit for power transmission device of vehicle

A control device for a driving device, the driving device includes a transmission and a hydraulic pressure generating device. The hydraulic pressure generating device includes an oil pump and a first mechanism. The first mechanism is configured to decrease hydraulic pressure of an oil passage connected with the oil pump. The control device includes an ECU. The ECU is configured to control the engine rotational speed to a first rotational speed and maintain vehicle speed by gear shifting, in a case where, while a vehicle is running in a predetermined running state, fuel consumption is smaller when the engine is driven at the first rotational speed, compared to fuel consumption in the predetermined running state, the first rotational speed is a rotational speed at which the hydraulic pressure is decreased, the predetermined running state being a running state in which the hydraulic pressure is not decreased.

A transmission belt includes: an endless annular hoop formed by overlapping a plurality of thin strip-shaped rings; and a multiplicity of elements supported by the hoop in an annularly arranged state along the hoop, the elements including a saddle surface pressed against an inner circumferential surface of a first ring located at the innermost circumference of the hoop, the transmission belt wound between a plurality of pulleys to transmit power and having a shape in the width direction of the first ring elastically deformed in accordance with the saddle surface in a pressed state while the inner circumferential surface of the first ring is pressed against the saddle surface, wherein the saddle surface is curved as a whole such that a center portion in the width direction bulges out, and wherein a degree of bulging-out of the center portion is smaller as compared to a degree of bulging-out of peripheral portions on the both sides, and the first ring is formed into a curved shape with a center portion in the width direction bulging out toward the outside in a natural state, and when both side portions in the width direction are brought into close contact with the peripheral portions of the saddle surface in a pressed state, the first ring is turned into a curved shape as a whole such that a center portion in the width direction bulges out in accordance with the shapes of the peripheral portions, and wherein the pressing load against the saddle surface is reduced in the center portion in the width direction or a gap is formed.

Transmission belt

A durable V-belt formed by fastening plate-like elements juxtaposed annularly using a ring. The element comprises a saddle face on which the ring is disposed, columns extending radially outwardly from lateral ends of a saddle face, and flank faces formed on lateral ends of the column to be contacted with a groove of a V-pulley to transmit power. An angle between outer circumferential portions of the flank faces is substantially identical to or smaller than an open angle of the groove of the V-pulley; and an angle between inner circumferential portions of the flank faces is larger than the angle between the outer circumferential portions.

An axial piston pump has: a cylinder body that forms therein a cylinder chamber extending in an axial direction of a drive shaft and rotates integrally with a driven shaft; a piston that reciprocates in the axial direction of the drive shaft; and a cam device that rotates integrally with the drive shaft and has: a fixed cam member that has a cam surface capable of coming into contact with a cam follower coupled to the piston and is capable of rotating integrally with the drive shaft, with movement of the fixed cam member in the axial direction being restricted; and a movable cam member that has a cam surface capable of coming into contact with the cam follower and is capable of rotating integrally with the drive shaft, with movement of the movable cam member in the axial direction being allowed, irregularity differences in the axial direction of the cam surface of the fixed cam member and the movable cam member being different from each other.

To assemble a belt including a plurality of elements and a ring for fastening the element efficiently. A belt assembling apparatus for fastening a plurality of plate-like elements being juxtaposed in a same orientation annularly by a ring includes a load applying mechanism, which applies a load to the ring or to the elements which have already been fastened by the ring during a process of fastening the elements sequentially by the ring, thereby widening a clearance in an array of the elements being fastened by the ring. Therefore, the clearance to which the last piece of the element to be fastened by the ring is inserted can be widened relatively so that the element is allowed to be inserted into the clearance easily.

Belt assembling apparatus and method, and belt manufacturing method

A belt for a continuously variable transmission and elements used in the belt. The elements include a stopper portion formed integrally with a neck portion erected upwardly from a saddle face to hold a width end portion of the ring. The elements are juxtaposed annularly in a same orientation and fastened by rings disposed on a saddle face of the element thereby forming a belt for a continuously variable transmission. A recessed portion is formed by depressing the saddle face at a corner between a side face of the neck portion and the saddle face; and an inner face of the recessed portion includes a first inner face extending smoothly into the side face of the neck portion and having a relatively larger curvature radius, and a second inner face extending smoothly into the first inner face and having a relatively smaller curvature radius.

Element of belt for continuously variable transmission and belt for continuously variable transmission

In a hydraulic apparatus, a first rotating member and a second rotating member are provided so as to be relatively rotatable with a same central axis, a cam is provided on the first rotating member, pistons are arranged on the second rotating member so as to be opposed to the cam, the pistons are pressed against the cam to contact by compression coil springs, oil chambers of which volumes are expanded and contracted according to movements of the pistons are provided on the second rotating member, first and second fluid paths through which oil flows into and out from the oil chambers are provided, and a path switching device for switching an inflow direction and an outflow direction of the oil in the first and second fluid paths according to difference in pressure between the first and second fluid paths is provided.

Hydraulic apparatus

A belt type continuously variable transmission includes an adjustable sheave which is provided with a fixed rotor fixed to a revolving shaft and with a movable rotor attached to the revolving shaft by spline fit in a manner inhibiting their relative rotation and allowing axial displacement so that a groove width is adjustable between the movable rotor and the fixed rotor, wherein the revolving shaft is provided with a load supporting portion on which tip surfaces of spline teeth of the movable rotor are in slide contact, whereby a radial load from the movable rotor is supported by the load supporting portion.

Belt type continuously variable transmission

The continuously variable belt transmission is provided with a fixed sheave and a movable sheave provided on a secondary shaft, a first hydraulic chamber that presses the movable sheave in an axial direction, a second hydraulic chamber that gives the movable sheave a pressing force acting in a direction opposite the pressing force given by the first hydraulic chamber, an oil passage connected to the second hydraulic chamber, and an oil receiver disposed along a path from the oil passage to the second hydraulic chamber. The oil receiver is attached to the secondary shaft, a bearing and a bulkhead are disposed on both sides of the oil receiver, an oil passage is provided in the secondary shaft, and a grooved portion provided in the oil receiver connects the second hydraulic chamber and the oil passage.
