A hybrid vehicle is provided in which a case () for housing an electrical component including at least a battery module is disposed underneath a floor of a luggage compartment interposed between left and right rear side frames () immediately to the rear of a fuel tank () disposed beneath a floor panel () of a hybrid vehicle, and a canister () is disposed on one of left and right sides of the case (). Since the canister () is disposed further inside than the outer end of the rear side frame () in the left-and-right direction and further forward than the rear end of the case (), when the vehicle is involved in a collision from the side the case () and the canister () can be protected by the rear side frame (), and when the vehicle is involved in a collision from the rear the fuel tank () and the canister () can be protected by the case () while guaranteeing the capacity of a luggage compartment of a rear part of a vehicle body.

Hybrid vehicle

A vehicular power supply system is provided in which the interior of a waterproof case is partitioned into a first cooling air passage on the lower side and a second cooling air passage on the upper side, a battery module is cooled with cooling air that is introduced from an intake passage part of a duct member and flows through the first cooling air passage on the lower side, and high voltage electrical components are then cooled by guiding the cooling air to the second cooling air passage on the upper side via an intermediate duct.

Vehicular power supply system

In a vehicular power supply system, inclined portions () extending obliquely upward toward the exterior from two mutually opposing side edges of a waterproof case () are formed on a hanger frame (), and an upper face opening () of the waterproof case () and an outer peripheral part of a lid member () are equipped with extended portions () extending upward so as to cover the inclined portion () of the hanger frame (). This enables water flowing on an upper face of the lid member () or water that has accumulated on the upper face of the lid member () to be blocked by the extended portions () and to be prevented from entering the interior of the waterproof case () via an outer peripheral face of the hanger frame () running through mating faces of a lid member () and the waterproof case () housing a battery module () and a high voltage electrical component ().

In a battery cooling air intake structure, in which a trunk side lining () of a vehicle body side part is disposed so as to be continuous with a side part of a seat back () of a seat for a passenger to sit on, and a battery is cooled using, as cooling air, air within a vehicle compartment taken in via an intake port () provided in a front face () of the trunk side lining (), since a seat belt () is disposed so that at least part thereof in a non-used state overlaps the intake port () when viewed in the vehicle body fore-and-aft direction and a predetermined gap (b) is formed between the intake port () and at least part of the seat belt () when viewed in the vehicle width direction, it is possible to prevent interference with the intake of cooling air due to the intake port () being blocked by the seat belt (), while disposing the seat belt () as far toward the outside in the vehicle width direction as possible so that it does not overlap the seat back ().

Battery cooling air intake structure

In a fuel cell powered electric vehicle having a fuel cell system and an electricity storing device for storing electricity generated by the fuel cell system, the fuel cell system and the electricity storing device stored in a box are fixed to a lower side of a floor of a cabin. A plate is provided to separate the fuel cell system and the electricity storing device in the interior of the box from each other. In addition, through holes are provided in the floor of the cabin for connecting between a refrigerant inlet port and a refrigerant outlet port of the electricity storing device and the cabin.

Capacitor module

An arrangement of a cooling apparatus installed in a vehicle for cooling with an air refrigerant an electricity storing apparatus for storing electricity generated in the vehicle, comprises an inlet port, a discharge duct and a fan. The inlet port let in therefrom the air refrigerant to the electricity storing apparatus. The discharge duct is disposed below a floor surface of a trunk of the vehicle for causing the air refrigerant discharged from the electricity storing apparatus to flow therethrough. The fan is situated in the discharge duct for discharging the air refrigerant. The fan is disposed outwardly of an interior material provided on a side of the trunk of the vehicle. The arrangement of a cooling apparatus can prevent the operating noise of a fan from entering a passenger compartment and which can facilitate the installation of luggage in a trunk.

Arrangement of cooling apparatus

An accumulating element module includes a plurality of accumulating elements, each having a positive pole terminal and a negative pole terminal at one end. The accumulating elements are connected together at their other ends by an insulating connecting member made of a synthetic rubber. The insulating connecting member includes a plurality of caps and connectors. A deformation-resistant, band-shaped, temperature sensing member having a plurality of excessively raised temperature detectors is inserted through the caps.
