A blower type chemical diffusing apparatus is small in thickness, simple in structure, and reduced in cost. The apparatus allows the chemical and a battery to be exchanged readily and facilitates electrically connecting the battery to the motor in the blower. The apparatus casing includes a first and a second side casing counterpart hinged together to allow opening and closing. The apparatus further includes a blower with a motor and fan mounted in the first casing body. A chemical cartridge is disposed between the blower and the second casing body, and contains a chemical impregnated body which includes a carrier in the form of a sheet impregnated with the chemical. The first casing body has a battery accommodating recess in which dry cells are removably accepted to drive the motor and thereby to rotate the fan. Air is thus forced to flow through the chemical cartridge.

Blower type chemical diffusing apparatus, and chemical cartridge and chemical impregnated body used therefor

A chemical cartridge for a blower-type chemical diffusing apparatus includes a chemical-impregnated body including an air-permeable and liquid-absorptive sheet impregnated with a chemical, and a retainer receptacle for containing the chemical-impregnated body. The retainer receptacle includes a liquid pool recess formed at a central area thereof such that liquid chemical stored in the liquid pool recess is permeable towards a peripheral area of the sheet.

A fan type noxious insect control apparatus is disclosed which is desirably used carried on a user's body part and excels in noxious insect control performance. To this end, the apparatus is so configured that air is drawn through an inlet port () by driving of an axial flow fan () and passed through a chemical carrier () carrying a noxious insect control active ingredient to form the air containing such active ingredient, the air being run out through an outlet port () to diffuse the active ingredient into the ambient atmosphere and further that the inlet port () at an upstream of the fan () is open facing axially thereof, the outlet port () at a downstream of the fan () is open facing radially thereof, and there are provided an annular wall () surrounding the fan () and an air flow passage () communicating between a delivery section of the fan () and the outlet port () to convert air flowing out of the axial flow fan () axially thereof to air flowing radially thereof.

Fan type noxious insect control apparatus

A blower type chemical diffusing apparatus is disclosed which can be of service for an extended period of time and does not give rise to refuse disposal problems. The blower type chemical diffusing apparatus of the invention has an air blower, a chemical retainer and a fuel cell included in the apparatus body whereby powering the air blower to drive it with the fuel cell causes chemical from the chemical retainer to be emitted into an environmental atmosphere.
