A rotating electrical machine stator and a method for manufacturing a rotating electrical machine stator with high productivity. A rotating electrical machine stator includes a stator core having a slot; and a coil having a leg part including a held-in-slot part held in the slot and a portion extending from the held-in-slot part, and a resin foam is provided between an inner surface of the slot and an outer surface of the held-in-slot part facing the inner surface of the slot. The coil is formed by joining together a plurality of segment conductors each having a joint part, and a conductive joint material is disposed between a pair of joint parts facing each other in the slot.

Rotating electrical machine stator and method for manufacturing rotating electrical machine stator

A method of manufacturing a rotor includes: applying the adhesive to an adhesive placement position on an outer peripheral surface of the permanent magnet or an inner peripheral surface of the magnet hole, the adhesive containing an expansive agent that is expanded by being heated to a temperature that is equal to or higher than an expansion temperature; drying the adhesive after applying the adhesive; inserting the permanent magnet into the magnet hole of the rotor core after drying the adhesive; and fixing the permanent magnet and the rotor core to each other using the adhesive by expanding the expansive agent and curing the adhesive by heating the adhesive to a temperature that is equal to or higher than the expansion temperature after inserting the permanent magnet.

A rotor for a rotary electric machine, the rotor including a rotor core that has a magnet hole; a permanent magnet inserted into the magnet hole; and an adhesive layer provided between the permanent magnet and a wall surface of the magnet hole and including a plurality of capsule bodies therein, the adhesive layer fixing the permanent magnet to the wall surface of the magnet hole, wherein the adhesive layer is provided only on a wall surface of the magnet hole on a first side, which is one of a wall surface of the magnet hole on an inner side in a radial direction and a wall surface on an outer side in the radial direction.

Rotor for rotary electric machine and manufacturing method

A rotor for a rotating electrical machine, the rotor including: a rotor core having a magnet insertion hole extending in an axial direction that is a direction along a rotor rotational axis; and a permanent magnet fixed inside the magnet insertion hole with an adhesive, wherein the permanent magnet has a magnet-side flat surface that is formed as a rectangular flat surface, wherein the magnet insertion hole has, in an internal surface thereof, a hole-side flat surface that is formed as a flat surface facing the magnet-side flat surface, and wherein the adhesive is a foaming adhesive and is provided at least at four corners of the magnet-side flat surface, and a thickness of the adhesive at a center of the magnet-side flat surface is smaller than a thickness of the adhesive at the four corners.
