[PROBLEMS] It is an object of the present invention to provide a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film roll which can reduce defects caused during a heat shrinking step due to the variation of a heat shrinkage rate in the heat-shrinkable polyester-based film roll having the longitudinal direction as the main shrinkage direction, specifically, defects of the film when covering an object by a wrap-around method and heat-shrunk. [SOLUTIONS] A heat-shrinkable polyester-based film roll, comprising a core; and a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film having a longitudinal direction as a main shrinkage direction that is wound around the core; wherein the film (roll) satisfy predetermined polyester composition, and all samples cutout every about 100 m have a heat shrinkage rate measured by immersion in hot water of 90° C. for 10 seconds of 30% or more and 80% or less and ±3% or less of an average in the longitudinal direction.

Heat-shrinkable polyester-based film roll

The invention provides a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film containing 90 mol % or more of ethylene terephthalate unit based on 100 mol % of whole ester unit, wherein at least a part of ethylene glycol and/or terephthalic acid constituting the ethylene terephthalate unit is derived from biomass resource or the heat-shrinkable polyester-based film contains polyester resin recycled from PET bottles, and the heat-shrinkable polyester-based film satisfies the requirements: (1) heat-shrinkage ratio in a width direction measured by shrinking the film for 10 seconds in 90° C. hot water is 50%-75%, (2) heat-shrinkage ratio in a longitudinal direction measured by shrinking the film for 10 seconds in 90° C. hot water is −6% or more and 14% or less, (3) heat-shrinkage ratio in the longitudinal direction measured by shrinking the film for 10 seconds in 70° C. hot water is −6% or more and 6% or less, and (4) irregularity of thickness in the width direction is 1%-20%.

Heat-shrinkable polyester-based film

A polyolefin-based film comprising at least one layer permitting printing as a result of laser irradiation; wherein not less than 100 ppm but not greater than 3000 ppm of pigment permitting printing as a result of laser irradiation is present in all layers of the film; haze thereof is not less than 1% but not greater than 30%; and unevenness in thickness thereof in either a machine direction or a transverse direction is not less than 0.1% but not greater than 25%. An object is to provide a film capable of being printed in distinct fashion by a laser, that excels with respect to unevenness in thickness, and that is of high transparency, and at the same time provide packaging which employs such film and on which printing has been directly carried out.

Laser-printable film and packaging in which same is used

The invention provides a polyester sealant film having at least one of a heat sealing layer and a heat resistant layer, wherein each layer consists of a polyester component containing ethylene terephthalate. The polyester sealant film has (1) a heat sealing strength of the heat sealing layers of 8-20 N/15 mm; (2) a difference in reversible heat capacity (ΔCp) for the heat sealing layer of 0.5-1.1 J/g/K; (3) a ΔCp for the heat resistant layer of 0.1 to less than 0.6 J/g/K; (4) a fold holding angle of 20-60 degrees; (5) a smaller curvature radius of 50-300 mm in a longitudinal or widthwise direction; and (6) a heat shrinkage ratio of −5% to 5% in both longitudinal and widthwise directions. The invention also provides a laminate comprising at least one layer of the polyester sealant and a packaging bag comprising the laminate.

Polyester sealant film, laminate and package

[PROBLEM] To provide a packaging and a display material which permit printing in distinct fashion by a laser, and which are of high transparency. [SOLUTION MEANS] A display material having at least one layer permitting printing as a result of laser irradiation, the display material being such that the printing occurs due to change in color caused by the laser irradiation in at least one region of said layer; when a digital microscope is used to carry out cross-sectional observation of said printed region and a nonprinted region, a significant difference in at least any one of RGB values indicating color elements is observed; and thickness of said printed region is not less than 5 μm but not greater than 200 μm.

Display material on which laser printing has been carried out and packaging employing same

A display body characterized in that there is at least one white printing layer permitting printing by means of laser irradiation; said white printing layer has a nonprinted region and a printed region at which laser printing has been carried out; and (1) through (3) are satisfied. (1) An absolute value of a difference in color L* values between the printed region and the nonprinted region is not less than 1.0 but not greater than 10.0. (2) Total luminous transmittance of the nonprinted region is not less than 8% but not greater than 50%. (3) Fractional decrease in thickness of the printed region in a cross-sectional direction is not less than 1 vol % but not greater than 80 vol % of that of the nonprinted region. A high-quality display body, with high productivity is provided.

Laser-printed display body and packaging

The invention provides a polyester resin for heat-shrinkable film which contains terephthalic acid as a main component of a dicarboxylic acid component, contains ethylene glycol as a main component of a diol component, and contains from 18 to 32% by mole of neopentyl glycol and from 7 to 15% by mole of diethylene glycol when a total amount of the whole diol component in total polyester resin components is taken as 100% by mole. The polyester resin has (i) an intrinsic viscosity (IV) of not less than 0.65 and less than 0.70 dl/g, (ii) a carboxyl end group concentration (AV) of 8-25 eq/t, (iii) a color b value of 1.0-8.0 in an L*a*b* color system, and (iv) aluminum and phosphorus atoms, wherein the aluminum atoms are present in an amount of 15-40 ppm, and wherein the molar ratio of the phosphorus atoms to the aluminum atoms is 1.8-2.6.

Polyester resin for heat-shrinkable film, heat-shrinkable film, heat-shrinkable label, and packaged product

The invention provides a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film, where the heat-shrinkage ratio in the width direction is high and the irregularity of thickness is small. The heat-shrinkable polyester-based film of the present invention contains 90 mol % or more of ethylene terephthalate unit based on 100 mol % of whole ester unit, wherein, the heat-shrinkable polyester-based film satisfies the requirements: (1) heat-shrinkage ratio in a width direction measured by shrinking the film for 10 seconds in 90° C. hot water is 50%-75%, (2) heat-shrinkage ratio in a longitudinal direction measured by shrinking the film for 10 seconds in 90° C. hot water is −6% or more and 14% or less, (3) heat-shrinkage ratio in the longitudinal direction measured by shrinking the film for 10 seconds in 70° C. hot water is −6% or more and 6% or less, and (4) irregularity of thickness in the width direction is 1%-20%.

The present invention provides a polyester-based film for keeping freshness, comprising a polyester-based resin layer comprising, ethylene terephthalate as a main component, wherein the polyester-based film satisfies the requirements (1) to (4); that can extend the shelf life of the contents such as fruits and vegetables when using as a packaging bag, increase a commodity value, and re-close even after the packaging bag opened.

Polyester-based film for keeping freshness and packaging bag

A polyester-based film comprising at least one layer permitting printing as a result of laser irradiation; wherein not less than 100 ppm but not greater than 3000 ppm of laser-printable metal is present in all layers of the film. The film is capable of being printed in distinct fashion by a laser, excels with respect to unevenness in thickness, and is of high transparency, while at the same time provide packaging which employs such film and on which printing has been directly carried out.

The present invention provides a polyester film suitable for use as a sealant, which not only has high heat sealing strength, but also is less liable to adsorb various organic compounds, and has a less shrinkage in heating and high tensile strength. Further, the present invention provides a laminate comprising at least one layer of the polyester film, and a packaging bag including the same. The polyester film which is formed with a polyester resin whose main constituent is ethylene terephthalate. The film has at least one heat sealing layer. The film has a predetermined heat sealing strength, a predetermined difference in reversing heat capacity measured with a temperature modulated DSC, and a predetermined heat shrinkage. Further, the laminate comprises at least one layer of the polyester film, and the packaging bag includes the same.

The invention provides a sealant film that is less likely to adsorb components formed of various types of organic compounds, has excellent heat sealing characteristics at 140&#xb0; C., while having low heat sealing strength at 100&#xb0; C. and being less likely for heat sealing layers to adhere to each other even when the film is used as a packaging bag and the content thereof is warmed in boiling water. The sealant film has at least one heat sealing layer consisting of a polyester component, wherein a heat sealing strength of the heat sealing layer being heat sealed to another heat sealing layer at 100&#xb0; C. and 0.2 MPa for 2 seconds is 0-5 N/15 mm and at 140&#xb0; C. and 0.2 MPa for 2 seconds is 8-30 N/15 mm, and a film density including all layers is 1.20 or more and less than 1.39.

A laminated body having at least two or more different layers, wherein the laminate body is characterized by satisfying the following requirements (1) to (5): (1) the laminate body has a heat-sealing layer as at least one of the outermost layers, wherein the heat-sealing layer includes a polyester based component containing ethylene terephthalate as a main constituent component, and a sealing strength of 8 N/15 mm to 30 N/15 mm; (2) at least one layer other than the heat-sealing layer is an inorganic thin film layer; (3) a water vapor permeation rate of 0.1 g/m&#xb7;d to 6 g/m&#xb7;d; (4) an oxygen permeation rate of 5 ml/m&#xb7;d&#xb7;MPa to 30 ml/m&#xb7;d&#xb7;MPa; and (5) a heat shrinkage rate of &#x2212;5% to 5%.

The invention provides a white polyester film formed with a polyester resin whose main constituent is ethylene terephthalate, and (1) the film has at least two or more layers, and has at least one white layer and at least one heat sealing layer, wherein at least one of the film surfaces is the heat sealing layer, and the film satisfies the prescribed requirements of (2) the peeling strength of the heat sealing layers, (3) the difference in reversing heat capacity between at a lower and a higher temperature than a glass transition temperature of the heat sealing layer, (4) the heat shrinkage in both a longitudinal and width direction when treated in hot water at 80&#xb0; C. for 10 seconds, (5) the total light transmittance, and (6) the apparent specific gravity.

White polyester film, laminate, and packaging bag

The invention provides an amorphous copolymerized polyester raw material for a film. The raw material contains ethylene terephthalate as a main constituent component, and contains from 18% by mol to 30% by mol of neopentyl glycol when a total amount of a glycol component in a total polyester resin component is taken as 100% by mol. The raw material contains from 8% by mol to 16% by mol of a constituent unit derived from diethylene glycol in the total amount (100% by mol) of the glycol component in the total polyester resin component. The raw material has an intrinsic viscosity of from 0.70 dl/g to 0.86 dl/g. The raw material has a melt viscosity of 200 Pa&#xb7;S or less, when measured at a shear rate of 6080/S at 250&#xb0; C.
