Provided is a slurry treatment apparatus includes: a treatment tank for performing any treatment of a solid-liquid reaction, a solid-gas reaction, a gas-liquid reaction, and solid-liquid separation on a slurry containing a metal or a metal compound; a first pipe; a second pipe; and a pump, in which one end of the first pipe has a suction opening for sucking the slurry from the treatment tank, the other end of the first pipe is connected to a suction port of the pump, one end of the second pipe is linked to a discharge port of the pump, the other end of the second pipe is connected to a microbubble generator, and the microbubble generator includes a throttle that throttles a flow of the slurry and a gas supply tube for supplying gas to the throttle, and supplies microbubbles to the slurry in the treatment tank.

In a bubble measurement device for measuring bubbles moving in a liquid, the bubble measurement device includes a measurement chamber in which the bubbles in the liquid containing solid materials are introduced into the measurement chamber from below the measurement chamber, and providing a transparent slope facing diagonally downward at a position where the introduced bubbles rise, an image capturing device to capture an image of the bubbles passing the transparent slope, an introduction pipe provided below the measurement chamber to introduce the bubbles into the measurement chamber, and a bubble introduction valve that is immersed in the liquid to be measured and performs the introduction and blocking of the bubbles into the introduction pipe.

Bubble measurement device

An air bubble measurement device is a device that measures the air bubbles moving in the liquid. The air bubble measurement device includes a measurement chamber that holds a liquid. The measurement chamber includes an introduction port to introduce the air bubbles in the liquid from a lower side and a transparent inclined surface that faces obliquely downward and is disposed at a position to which the air bubbles present inside the liquid move up. The transparent inclined surface includes a hydrophilic membrane. The hydrophilic membrane has a contact angle with water of 20 degrees or less. This structural arrangement allows for reducing an attachment of the air bubbles on the transparent inclined surface even when the air bubbles become small. This allows for reducing stay of the air bubbles on the transparent inclined surface and allows for accurately measuring the states of the air bubbles (that is, the size and quantity of the air bubbles).

The present invention provides a method for producing a silver powder, the method being capable of producing a silver powder with high productivity and at low cost, the silver powder having an average particle diameter of 0.3 to 2.0 &#x3bc;m and a narrow particle size distribution, and provides a silver powder produced by the production method. According to the present invention, the method for producing a silver powder includes: quantitatively and continuously supplying each of a silver solution containing a silver complex and a reductant solution to a flow path; and quantitatively and continuously reducing a silver complex in a reaction solution obtained by mixing the silver solution with the reductant solution in the flow path, wherein the reaction solution is made to contain a dispersant, and also a silver concentration in the reaction solution is adjusted to be in a range of 5 to 75 g/L.

In a calibrator used for a non-destructive transmission optical measuring apparatus for quantitatively determining a specific component contained in a measuring object by making light incident on the measuring object at its light-incident area, detecting the light having entered, and having been transmitted through, the interior of the measuring object, at its light-emergent area set at a position different from the light-incident area, and measuring absorption of the light to quantitatively determine the specific component contained in the measuring object, the calibrator comprises a closed body having a light inlet and a light outlet, the interior of which is provided with a substrate having light absorption characteristics identical or similar to those of the specific component, and in which a light path length from the light inlet to the light outlet is so set as to be equal or substantially equal to an effective light path length of the light transmitted through the interior of the measuring object. This calibrator can make calibration on the non-destructive transmission optical measuring apparatus without destroying measuring objects and in a high precision and a good reproducibility and also in a simple way and short time.
