An electronic device in an embodiment includes a housing including a hollow first space section with one surface of the hollow first space section opened and including a first ventilation hole, a lid provided to close the opening of the housing, including a hollow second space section, and including a second ventilation hole, a heat sink provided in the first space section and configured to radiate heat generated from an electronic component housed in the housing, and a fan provided in the first space section and configured to cool the heat sink with a flow of air caused by the fan rotating. The lid includes a ventilation port in a position facing the fan and separates the first space section and the second space section excluding the ventilation port.

Electronic device

Provided are a structure capable of protecting an air intake portion from entry of water droplets or the like, and an electronic device including the structure. The electronic device includes: a housing which is a box-shaped container having an open upper surface, configured to house an electronic component and a fan for blowing air downward, and provided with an air exhaust hole; an inner lid to be attachable and detachable at a position at which an opening of the housing is closed, and provided with an air intake hole upstream of the fan in an air-blowing direction; and an upper lid provided to overlap the inner lid, and facing, from above, a surface provided with the air intake hole with a gap therebetween.

A reading device provided to obtain information specifying a product, the device including a housing, an imaging unit, and an illumination unit. The housing includes a transparent reading window. The imaging unit is built in the housing and captures an image through the reading window. The illumination unit illuminates an imaging target of the imaging unit by performing surface emission of light toward the outside of the housing. The illumination unit is disposed outside an edge of the reading window and is inclined with respect to the reading window so as to protrude more with respect to the reading window toward a side farther from the reading window.

Reading device

According to one embodiment, a reading device is a device for obtaining information for identifying a merchandise, and includes a housing, an imaging unit, a main illumination unit, and an auxiliary illumination unit. The housing includes a reading window having a property of transmitting light. The imaging unit is built in the housing and captures an image through the reading window. The main illumination unit illuminates an imaging target located on the opposite side of the imaging unit with the reading window interposed therebetween by emitting light outward the housing, and is arranged at the upper edge portion of the reading window. The auxiliary illumination unit illuminates the imaging target by emitting light outward the housing through the reading window, and is arranged inner side than the main illumination unit.
