A powder inhaler includes: a housing having a port; a storage member located in the housing for storing a powder medicament; and a medicament-delivery member provided in the housing. The medicament-delivery member includes at least one concave portion for receiving medicament, and is capable of taking, relative to the storage member, a receiving position wherein the concave portion receives a predetermined amount of powder medicament from the storage member, and an inhalation position wherein the powder medicament can be inhaled through the admission port; and a stirring member for stirring the powder medicament stored in the storage member. An operation button is provided in the housing and is capable of moving between the initial position and a depressed position, while the operation button reciprocates between the initial position and the depressed position, the concave portion in the medicament-delivery member moves from the receiving position to the inhalation position and the stirring member operates.

Powder inhaler

A flexible and restorable container main body for housing a medicinal solution. A stopper member is fixed in an inside of a medicinal solution passage that communicates with the container main body for discharging the medicinal solution when the container main body is pressed and deformed. A pressure valve is arranged in the medicinal solution passage at a downstream side in the medicinal solution discharge direction further than the stopper member and is formed with an opening having a circular cross section which contacts a tip portion of the stopper member. A biasing member is provided at a downstream side for biasing the pressure valve in a direction opposite to the medicinal solution discharge direction by abutting against a peripheral portion of the opening of the pressure valve.

A powder inhalator including: a housing, a supply member for holding a powdered drug for a large number of doses and having a drug discharge aperture at its bottom surface; a drug carrier, to which the powdered drug is supplied from the drug discharge aperture of the supply member, and having on its upper surface a measuring recess that has a volume equivalent to one dose of the drug; and an operation member disposed so as to move freely back and forth, and operate the drug carrier; the drug carrier moving in contact with the bottom surface of the supply member to carry the powdered drug loaded into the measuring recess from the position of the drug discharge aperture to an air inhalation channel, wherein the drug carrier is disposed slidably so that the measuring recess moves in a circular manner by sliding the drug carrier.
