Shown is an active energy ray-curable coating varnish which is capable of suppressing outward migration from printed matter, and which is capable of simultaneously achieving excellent curability and excellent line applicability, in addition to low yellowing characteristics. The coating varnish contains a (meth)acrylate compound (A) and a photopolymerization initiator (B), wherein at least one compound selected from the group consisting of ethylene oxide-modified pentaerythritol tetraacrylates, ethylene oxide-modified diglycerol tetraacrylates, ethylene oxide-modified trimethylolpropane triacrylates and ethylene oxide-modified ditrimethylolpropane tetraacrylates is used as the (meth)acrylate compound (A), and at least one of 2-hydroxy-1-[4-[4-(2-hydroxy-2-methyl-propionyl)-benzyl]-phenyl]-2-methylpropan-1-one (b1) and oligo[2-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-[4-(1-methylvinyl)phenyl]propanone] (b2) is used as the photopolymerization initiator (B).

Active energy ray-curable coating varnish, and printed matter using same

The present invention relates to a solvent-based inkjet ink containing at least a pigment, an organic solvent, a binder resin and a dispersant, wherein the dispersant has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of at least 5,000 but less than 50,000, an acid value (mgKOH/g) of 5 to 20, and an amine value (mgKOH/g) of 5 to 50. The present invention enables a dispersion of low viscosity and good stability to be generated in an extremely short dispersion time, and is able to provide an inkjet ink which forms an ink coating film that suffers no whitening and has superior resistance (abrasion resistance and alcohol resistance).

Solvent-based inkjet ink

Shown is an actinic ray-curable offset ink composition for foodstuff and pharmaceutical packaging which maintains superior curability without using a photosensitizer, which despite contributing to better curability (high productivity) tends to suffer from significant outward migration. The ink composition also suppresses outward migration of the monomers and photopolymerization initiators, and exhibits favorable adhesion to substrates.
