A solar battery panel inspection apparatus is an apparatus for inspecting a solar battery panel including a transparent insulating substrate having a main surface, and a transparent electrode layer, a semiconductor photoelectric conversion layer and a back electrode layer which are sequentially stacked and having an outer circumferential insulating region in which the main surface is exposed, to check the insulation performance of the outer circumferential insulating region. The solar battery panel inspection apparatus includes the first terminal to be brought into contact with the back electrode layer; the second terminal to be brought into contact with a region of or in proximity to an outer circumferential edge of the outer circumferential insulating region; one or more third terminals to be brought into contact with the outer circumferential insulating region between the first terminal and the second terminal; a voltage application unit for applying a voltage each between two terminals selected from these terminals; and a current detection unit detecting a current flowing between the two terminals to which a voltage is applied.

Solar battery panel inspection apparatus for inspecting the insulation state in the outer circumferential insulating region of a solar battery panel, method of inspecting, and method of manufacturing

A highly reliable thin film solar cell and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to improve bonding strength between a back-surface electrode layer and a bus bar without limiting the kind of metal film of the back-surface electrode layer. The thin film solar cell at least includes a light-transmitting insulating substrate, a transparent conductive film, a photoelectric conversion layer, and a back-surface electrode layer provided on the light-transmitting insulating substrate, and a bus bar provided on the back-surface electrode layer. The bus bar is electrically connected with the back-surface electrode layer with a conductive tape interposed whereby the back-surface electrode layer is used as a take-out electrode. The conductive tape preferably includes a thermosetting resin and a conductive particle. Furthermore, the conductive tape is preferably an anisotropic conductive tape.

A method for manufacturing a thin film photoelectric conversion module includes the steps of forming a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements connected in series on a substrate, and carrying out reverse bias processing simultaneously on a group of photoelectric conversion elements including a plurality of the photoelectric conversion elements positioned with one or a plurality of the photoelectric conversion elements interposed between each of them, by applying a plurality of voltages electrically isolated from one another to the group of photoelectric conversion elements.

Method and device for manufacturing thin film photoelectric conversion module

A method for manufacturing a thin film photoelectric conversion module comprising the steps of: (A) forming a plurality of divided strings by dividing a string, in which thin film photoelectric conversion elements provided by sequentially laminating a first electrode layer, a photoelectric conversion layer and a second electrode layer on the surface of an insulating substrate are electrically connected in series, into a plurality of strings by dividing grooves, electrically insulating and separating the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer one from the other and extending in a serial connection direction; and (B) performing reverse biasing by applying a reverse bias voltage to each of thin film photoelectric conversion elements of the divided string.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing thin film photoelectric conversion module

Disclosed is a light-emitting module wherein light entering into a solar cell is not attenuated, thereby preventing power output decrease of the solar cell. In addition, this light-emitting module can be produced by a simple process. Specifically disclosed is a light-emitting module wherein at least (a) a solar cell unit (b) a first adhesive layer, (c) a light-emitting unit composed of a second light-transmitting insulating substrate (transparent PET), a second metal layer (circuit pattern) and a light-emitting element (chip LED), (d) a second adhesive layer and (e) a third light-transmitting insulating substrate are sequentially stacked. The transparent PET having a thickness about 50-500 &#x3bc;m which is provided with the circuit pattern in advance is used for producing the light-emitting unit. A silver paste which can be cured by 30-minute heating at 150&#xb0; C. is used as a circuit pattern material, and the circuit pattern is formed on the transparent PET by screen printing, and then thermally cured.

Light-emitting module and light-emitting system

A solar battery cell of a serial stacked structure, increasing scattering of light, exhibiting good power-generating efficiency per unit area, and ensuring high reliability and a large yield in the manufacturing process, is provided. The solar battery cell includes a plurality of power-generating regions connected in series, each having insulative transparent semiconductor, front electrode, intermediate transparent conductive film, photoelectric conversion layer formed of stacked semiconductor films, and back electrode, and a contact line electrically connecting the front electrode and the back electrode of the neighboring respective power-generating regions. One power-generating region has at least two photoelectric conversion layers with the intermediate transparent conductive films sandwiched therebetween. At least one member of nonconductor and/or semiconductor is provided between the intermediate transparent conductive film and the contact line to prevent direct contact thereof.
