A heart model is retained in a container for a catheter simulator. The container includes an accommodating unit for accommodating a liquid, having side walls and a bottom surface, a connection unit attached to one of the side walls and retaining the heart model, and an installation part provided on one of the side walls. The installation part is configured to insert a catheter from an outside of the container into the simulated blood vessel of the heart model. The connection unit includes a holding protrusion protruding inside the accommodating unit, and a communicating hole. A front end of the holding protrusion is open so that the heart model is detachable from and reattachable to the holding protrusion by inserting and extracting a terminal of the heart model.

Heart model

A flexible endoscope of the present invention includes a catheter portion and a connection plug. The catheter portion includes an image guide, a light guide, and a catheter tube that surrounds the image guide and the light guide in a longitudinal direction, and the connection plug includes a hollow cover that accommodates the proximal end of the catheter tube, a flexible tube that protrudes from the hollow cover and through which the catheter tube is passed, a first connection terminal that is connected to the light guide extending from the proximal end of the catheter tube, and a second connection terminal that is connected to the image guide extending from the proximal end of the catheter tube. The image guide and the light guide are slidable inside the catheter tube, and at least one of the image guide and the light guide is arranged curved inside the hollow cover of the connection plug.

An imaging method for a catheter having a heart model, the heart model being installed in a container in a state of having the container filled with a liquid, and being provided with coronary arteries and an aorta. The imaging method includes causing a chemical reaction between an injection agent injected into the coronary arteries through a catheter, and the liquid in the container, and changing the color of the injection agent to the same color as that of the liquid.

Imaging method for catheter simulator

Plug for endoscope includes a flexible tube-shaped sheath through which a plurality of wires are inserted. The plurality of wires is connected to an insertion tip portion having an image capturing portion. The plug includes a housing having a substrate accommodation portion and a sheath introduced portion. The substrate accommodation portion accommodates a substrate, a base end aperture portion of the sheath passed through an opening of the housing is arranged in the sheath introduced portion, and a part of the plurality of wires derived from the base end aperture portion is connected to the substrate. A liquid intrusion prevention wall is provided to stand on a bottom wall of the housing, and the bottom wall is arranged under the base end aperture portion of the sheath in a substantially vertical direction, and the substrate accommodation portion and the sheath introduced portion are spatially isolated from each other.

Plug for endoscope

A container for a catheter simulator includes an accommodating unit for accommodating a liquid, the accommodating unit being defined by side walls and a bottom face. On the side walls, there are formed connection units capable of retaining any one of the heart models selected from a four-chamber heart model, a coronary artery model, and a Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation model, the heart model being installed in the accommodating unit in a state of having the accommodating unit filled with a liquid; and installation parts for inserting a catheter from the outside of the container into simulated blood vessels of the heart model.

Container for catheter simulator and heart model accommodated in said container

A catheter simulator () of the invention has a container () filled with a liquid; an elastic heart model () installed in a floating state in the liquid with which the container () is filled; and a pump () connected to the heart model (). The pump () is connected to an apex section of the heart model and produces a pulsatile flow from the apex section toward an aorta. Coronary arteries () provided on the surface of a main body (A) of the heart model (), pulsate together with the main body as a result of the pulsatile flow flowing from the pump ().

Catheter simulator

To provide a means capable easily releasing twist of two or more guidewires passed through a guiding catheter without pulling out the guidewires. A twist releasing apparatus has a shaft, a first tube formed at the tip of the shaft and has a first lumen through which two or more guidewires can be passed, a second tube disposed through a gap at the tip side in the axis direction relative to the first tube and has a second lumen through the two or more guidewires can be passed, and a connection portion for connecting the first tube and the second tube so that the two or more guidewires can be passed through the first lumen and the second lumen. The second tube has a slit that is formed in an axis direction and can be elastically deformed. The connection portion can be elastically deformed into a curved shape in the axis direction.
