A fuel control method for a gas turbine with a combustor being formed of at least two groups of a pluralities of main nozzles for supplying fuel, and that supplies fuel from the main nozzles of all groups upon ignition of the combustor (S), and supplies fuel from three main nozzles of a group A during subsequent acceleration of the gas turbine (S). Because fuel is injected from a small number of the main nozzles during acceleration, the fuel flow rate per one main nozzle is increased, thereby increasing the fuel-air ratio (fuel flow rate/air flow rate) in a combustion region and improving the combustion characteristics. Accordingly, the generation of carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbon is reduced, whereby no bypass valve is required and manufacturing costs are reduced. Because fuel is supplied from the main nozzles of all groups and burned in the entire area of the combustor upon ignition, it is possible to easily propagate a flame to all the other adjacent main nozzle groups, thereby improving the ignition characteristics of the whole gas turbine.

A power supply device includes battery cells, separators, and fastening members. The plurality of battery cells have a rectangular-box exterior shape. The separators are interposed between the battery cells, which are arranged side by side. The fastening members securely hold a battery assembly of the battery cells and the separators, which are alternately arranged side by side. The surfaces of each of the battery cells is covered by an electrically insulating covering member. Each of the separators has recessed parts that form a plurality of gas-flowing paths between the battery cells so that cooling gas can flow along surfaces of these battery cells when this separator is interposed between these battery cells. Edge parts of the recessed part, which forms the gas-flowing paths, are rounded.

The temperature equalizing walls are long and narrow with length in the direction of flow greater than the width, and each temperature equalizing wall gradually narrows towards the upstream end.

A battery system includes a battery block, a cooling pipe, and a coolant feeding device. The battery block includes a plurality of rectangular batteries that have a width greater than a thickness and are securely arranged in array alignment by a battery holder. The cooling pipe cools the rectangular batteries of the battery block. The coolant feeding device feeds coolant to the cooling pipe. In the battery system, the cooling pipe is arranged on the surface of the battery block in a thermally-coupled state so that the rectangular batteries are cooled by the coolant, which is circulated through the cooling pipe.

A battery system has a battery block with a plurality of battery cells that are rectangular batteries stacked with intervening insulating separators, and that battery block is held by fastening components. The fastening components are provided with a pair of endplates disposed at the ends of the stacked battery cells, and metal bands on both sides of the battery block connected at both ends to the endplates. An insulating separator has an insulating plate section, which intervenes between adjacent battery cells, and insulating walls, which cover both battery cell side-walls, formed from plastic as a single-piece. In this battery system, insulating plate sections are sandwiched between battery cells, and the insulating walls are disposed between battery cell outer side-walls and metal bands to insulate the battery cells from the metal bands.

A battery pack includes plural battery cells (), and insulating separators () disposed between adjacent battery cells (), where the plurality of battery cells are disposed in a stacked configuration with a prescribed gap between the adjacent battery cells. A separator () has plural gas channels that enable the flow of cooling gas. The gas channels have cooling gas entranceways and exit ways, which open at the sides of the battery block formed by the stacked battery cells. The separator 10 has cut sections formed to position the entranceways and exit ways of the gas channels inward from the sides of the battery block. This allows cooling gas near entranceways and exit ways to be smoothly introduced to, and exhausted from the gas channels, and reduces cooling gas pressure losses in those regions.

A fuel-flow-rate control device, a power generation system, and a fuel-flow-rate control method which can prevent overshooting of a gas turbine output (gas turbine inlet temperature) and which can improve power generation efficiency are provided. The fuel-flow-rate control device includes a computing portion for obtaining a state quantity relating to operating conditions and temperature conditions of a gas turbine as an input signal and computing a fuel-flow-rate command for controlling a fuel flow rate supplied to a combustor based on the above input signal, and a second selection circuit for setting the above fuel-flow-rate command to be not more than a fuel-flow-rate upper limit. The fuel-flow-rate upper limit is a fuel flow rate at which the gas turbine inlet temperature is set to be not more than a predetermined upper temperature limit.

A turbine inlet temperature operating section () determines the turbine inlet temperature Tbased on the flow rate Gf and temperature Tf of fuel being supplied to a combustor () and the flow rate Gand temperature Tof air. Based on the turbine inlet temperature T, a pilot ratio operating section () sets a pilot ratio, and a bypass valve operating section () and an IGV opening operating section () generate a bypass valve control signal and an IGV control signal, respectively.

A combustion temperature high speed detection device is provided with a phase lead processing portion, thereby canceling out a detection lag of a temperature detector, and detecting the combustion gas temperature of a combustor at a high speed. The combustion temperature high speed detection device is also provided with a first-order lag filtering portion with a time constant of 0.25 second, a phase lag processing portion with a time constant of 10 seconds, a temperature change filtering portion with a cutoff frequency of 2 to 3 Hz, and a disturbance filtering portion including first-order lag filtering portions with different time constants and a high value selecting portion. Thus, high speed detection of the combustion gas temperature more suitable for a gas turbine system can be performed.
