The synchronous reluctance motor includes: an annular stator core having slots; and a cylindrical rotor core-having, for each magnetic pole, slits formed by arc-shaped openings which are convex toward a cylinder center and whose apexes are positioned on a q axis. The nth arc that is an inner edge of the opening close to the cylinder center has an arc center point on the q axis at a distance D(n) from-the rotor core. Where the radius of the nth arc with respect to the arc center point is denoted by R(n) and a ratio k(n) is defined as D(n)/R(n), the values of the ratios k() to k(n) are determined such that 0.20≤k(n)≤0.37 and k(n)< . . . <k(n)< . . . <k()<1 are satisfied and a slope a is in a range of (−0.92/n)≤a≤(−0.71/n).

Synchronous reluctance motor

In a rotor in which magnet slots arranged in a V shape so as to open toward the outer circumferential side and having permanent magnets inserted therein are formed in a two-layer structure in a radial direction, the magnet slots in each layer are composed of a pair of slots formed between a center bridge located at the center and respective ones of two radially-outer bridges located between the outer surface of the rotor and the respective slots. Of magnetic fluxes generated from the permanent magnets, magnetic fluxes excluding magnetic fluxes for magnetically saturating the bridges are defined as effective magnetic fluxes. The rotor is configured such that the effective magnetic flux generated from the permanent magnet on the radially outer side is not greater than half the effective magnetic flux generated from the permanent magnet on the radially inner side.

Rotary electric machine

A controller for a rotary electric machine may include: at least one memory that stores a temperature prediction data in which a relationship among a rotational speed of a rotary electric machine, a torque information of the rotary electric machine, a temperature of the rotary electric machine at a reference time point, and a temperature of the rotary electric machine after an estimation calculation period elapses from the reference time point, and at least one processor that, at every estimation calculation period, sets the last calculation time before the estimation calculation period as the reference time point, and, by referring to the temperature prediction data, calculates an estimation value of temperature of the rotary electric machine after the estimation calculation period elapses from the last calculation time.

Controller for rotary electric machine

To provide a controller for AC rotary electric machine which can reduce an electromagnetic exciting force in the execution region of the magnetic flux weakening control. A controller for AC rotary electric machine, in a specific operating region which is set in an operating region of the magnetic flux weakening control, increases a maximum value of amplitude of fundamental wave components of applied voltages applied to windings more than a normal operating region other than the specific operating region; and calculates dq-axis current command values by the magnetic flux weakening control, in a condition in which the maximum value of amplitude of the fundamental wave components of the applied voltages is increased.

Controller for AC rotary electric machine

A motor, which can reduce a shaft current by a cheap configuration and has a high reliability, is provided. A motor which is provided between an internal combustion engine and a transmission and installed in a housing for connecting the internal combustion engine and the transmission, in which a number of magnetic poles of a rotor is '10&#xd7;n' (n is a natural number), and a number of teeth of a stator is '12&#xd7;n' (n is a natural number); and a rotary shaft of the rotor, bearings for supporting the rotary shaft, and the housing are composed of electric conductors; and an electric conductor circuit, which includes the rotary shaft, the bearings, and the housing and is interlinked to the stator, is formed.

Motor

A rotor core is configured by arranging divided rotor cores coaxially so as to be in close contact with each other such that magnetic pole centers are aligned axially, auxiliary grooves are recessed into respective outer circumferential surfaces of the divided rotor cores between respective magnetic poles so as to have plane symmetry relative to a plane that includes a center position between the magnetic poles and a central axis of the divided rotor cores, and so as to extend from a first axial end to a second axial end of the divided rotor cores, the auxiliary grooves recessed into an outer circumferential surface of an identical divided rotor core have an identical groove shape, and groove widths of the auxiliary grooves are set such that predetermined orders of harmonic components of cogging torque that result from each of the divided rotor cores mutually cancel each other out.

Embedded permanent magnet electric motor

Conductor terminals of a plurality of conductor wires that constitute a stator winding each extend outward at a first axial end of a stator core, and among the conductor terminals, conductor terminals through which same-phase electric power flows are respectively connected by crossover wires, and circumferential regions that are occupied by the crossover wires are separated from each other in a circumferential direction.

According to an electric motor, a cooling hole is formed outside of a circular arc-like region having an intersection between extension lines from inner side surfaces of adjacent permanent magnets as a center of the circular arc-like region and a distance between the intersection and an intermediate point on the side surface of the permanent magnet as a radius of the circular arc-like region. Thus, heat generation by a magnetic resistance due to the cooling hole is suppressed to improve efficiency.

Rotating electrical machine

A magnet temperature estimation device includes: a voltage detector () for detecting a voltage at a time when a winding is energized; a high-order component detector () for detecting a high-order component of the voltage; a reference database () for storing in advance, as a table, a correspondence relationship between the high-order component and two or more parameters, which include a magnet temperature and another one or more parameters, as parameters affecting the voltage from which the high-order component is detected; a parameter value detector () for detecting a value of the another one or more parameters; and a magnet temperature estimator () for estimating a magnet temperature corresponding to the high-order component detected by the high-order component detector based on the another one or more parameters detected by the parameter value detector and the table stored in the reference database.

Magnet temperature estimation device for permanent magnet motor and magnet temperature estimation method for permanent magnet motor

Permanent magnets that constitute the single magnetic poles are constituted by n permanent magnet segments, the n permanent magnet segments being configured such that shapes and directions of orientation thereof have mirror symmetry relative to a plane that passes through a magnetic pole center and that includes a central axis of the rotor core, and being oriented such that a permanent magnet segment that is further away from the magnetic pole center in a circumferential direction has a smaller angle of orientation, and the permanent magnet segment that is positioned further away from the magnetic pole center in the circumferential direction being produced so as to have an approximately fan-shaped cross-sectional shape in which a radial width is wider than a circumferential width.

Embedded permanent magnet rotary electric machine

Permanent magnets that form individual magnetic poles are configured by arranging three magnet blocks to be spaced apart from each other circumferentially, the three magnet blocks are each formed such that cross-sectional shapes that are perpendicular to a central axis of a rotor core are radially outwardly convex, and circumferential widths are narrower in magnet blocks that are further away from a magnetic pole center, and the three magnet blocks that are arranged circumferentially are formed to have mirror symmetry relative to a plane that passes through the magnetic pole center and the central axis of the rotor core.

A rotary electric machine is provided with a shaft which is a rotary shaft; a laminated core which has a permanent magnet embedded therein and is press-fitted to the shaft; a first member which is a magnetic member and is press-fitted to the shaft so as to hold an end portion of the laminated core; a second member which is a nonmagnetic member and is provided between the end portion of the laminated core and the first member so as to hold an end portion, with respect to the axial direction of the shaft, of the permanent magnet; and at least one of a first gap between the first member and the second member, and a second gap between the laminated core and the second member.
