This fan motor includes a motor, an impeller arranged to rotate together with a rotating portion of the motor, a housing arranged to house the motor and the impeller therein, and a lead wire connected to the motor and arranged to extend outwardly of the housing. The housing includes a tubular portion, a bottom plate portion fixed below the motor, and a support portion arranged to extend from at least a portion of the tubular portion toward the bottom plate portion, and joined to at least a portion of the bottom plate portion. The support portion includes a groove portion recessed upward. The tubular portion includes a cut portion defined at a portion thereof continuous with the groove portion. The lead wire is drawn out of the housing through the groove portion and the cut portion. At least one of the groove portion and the cut portion has a thermosetting resin arranged therein.

Fan motor

This stator unit includes a cylindrical bearing housing arranged to extend along a central axis extending in a vertical direction; a base member arranged to fix the bearing housing; a stator fixed to an outer circumferential surface of the bearing housing; and a mold resin portion arranged to cover the stator. The stator includes a stator core including a plurality of teeth arranged to project radially outward; an insulator arranged to cover a portion of a surface of the stator core; and a plurality of coils each of which is defined by a conducting wire wound around a separate one of the teeth with the insulator therebetween. A sealing agent is arranged between at least two of the outer circumferential surface of the bearing housing, the stator core, and the insulator.

Stator unit, motor, and parallel fan

A fan includes a stationary portion, a rotating portion, and an impeller arranged to rotate about a central axis together with the rotating portion to produce an axial air current. The rotating portion includes a rotor holder. The impeller includes a cup portion arranged to cover the rotor holder and a plurality of blades arranged on an outer circumference of the cup portion. The cup portion includes a cup cover portion arranged to extend radially outward from the central axis; a cup cylindrical portion being substantially cylindrical in shape, and arranged to extend in an axial direction from an outer edge portion of the cup cover portion; and a cup through hole arranged to extend through the cup portion at a position overlapping with a portion or boundary between the cup cover portion and the cup cylindrical portion.

A fan motor includes a motor; an impeller; a motor control board; an AC/DC converter board; electronic components mounted on the AC/DC converter board; and a housing arranged to contain the motor, the impeller, the motor control board, and the AC/DC converter board. The housing includes a base portion arranged to hold a stationary portion of the motor on an axially upper side thereof; and a case portion arranged to extend to assume a tubular shape on an axially lower side of the base portion. The AC/DC converter board is arranged in an interior space of the case portion. At least a portion of the interior space is filled with a resin material. Surfaces of the AC/DC converter board and the electronic components are covered with the resin material. The fan motor further includes a projecting portion arranged to project into the interior space.
