A silver halide photographic material comprising a support having coated thereon at least one blue-sensitive layer containing a yellow coupler, at least one green-sensitive layer containing a magenta coupler and at least one red-sensitive layer containing a cyan coupler, wherein on each of the characteristic curves of yellow, magenta and cyan of the silver halide photographic material, 1) the maximum density is not less than 3.0 and the density obtained by subtracting the density of the support from the minimum density is not more than 0.1, 2) the average value of point gamma at various points in the exposure region corresponding to a density value of from not less than 0.5 to less than 1.5 is from not less than 0.85 to not more than 1.15 and the fluctuation width thereof is within .+-.15% of the average value of point gamma in the exposure region, and 3) the average value of point gamma at various points in the exposure region corresponding to a density value of from not less than 1.5 to that 0.3 less than the maximum density is from not less than 1.0 to not more than 1.6 and the fluctuation width thereof is within .+-.15% of the average value of point gamma in the exposure region. The silver halide color photographic material exhibits an excellent tone and color reproducibility with respect to an original.

Silver halide color photographic material

A silver halide color photographic material comprising: a support; at least a blue-sensitive emulsion layer, a green-sensitive emulsion layer, and a red-sensitive emulsion layer on the support, and one or more hydrophilic colloidal layers thereon containing a dispersion of microcrystals of at least one compound represented by general formulae (I), (II), (III), (IV), (V), and (VI); and at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer having a silver density (d) of 0.4 g/cm.sup.3 or more, wherein d is N/V; where N represents the total number of grams of silver in said one or more light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers and V represents the cm.sup.3 of said light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer.

A novel silver halide color reversal photographic material is provided having at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a support, comprising silver halide grains contained in said at least one silver emulsion layer, said silver halide grains consisting of a core phase comprising the center thereof and a shell phase covering said core phase and comprising the surface thereof, and silver iodide content of said shell phase being higher than that of said core phase.

Silver halide color reversal photographic material

A silver halide photographic material comprising at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support, wherein the latent image distribution of silver halide grains contained in the at least one emulsion layer has at least one peak value within the grains, the location of the peak value is at a depth of less than 0.01 .mu.m from the surface of the grains, and the average silver iodide content of the grains is about 15 mol % or less.
