A press tooling includes a distance member pivotably supported by a holder; and a moving device provided on a first die unit. The holder is provided in a movable manner with respect to a punch in a press direction, and a pad is provided in a movable manner with respect to a die in the press direction. The distance member is pivotable between a home position in which the distance member does not come into contact with the second die and a preventive position in which the distance between the pad and the holder in the press direction is prevented from being equal to or less than a predetermined distance. As the holder moves relative to the punch in the first direction, the moving device causes the distance member to pivot from the home position toward the preventive position.

Press tooling

A hold device is attached to press tooling. The hold device includes a distance member attached to a holder, and a moving device attached to a first die unit. The holder is provided in a movable manner with respect to a punch in a press direction, and a pad is provided in a movable manner with respect to a die in the press direction. The distance member is pivotable between a home position in which the distance member does not come into contact with the second die and a preventive position in which the distance between the pad and the holder in the press direction is prevented from being equal to or less than a predetermined distance. As the holder moves relative to the punch in the first direction, the moving device causes the distance member to pivot from the home position toward the preventive position.

Hold device

A method or apparatus to produce an L-shaped pressed component includes, where a portion of a blank, having tensile strength of 1180 MPa or more, is held in a state of being clamped by a blank holder and a die, and a portion of the blank, to be formed into a top plate is held in a state of being clamped by a pad and a punch; the second step where a vertical wall, a concave ridge and a flange on the inner side of a curved portion are formed by, bend forming with a bending die, forming one, two or more material inflow promoting portion; and the third step where the die is moved in a direction toward a side where the blank holder is disposed to form a vertical wall, a concave ridge, and a flange on the outer side of the curved portion by draw forming.

Method and apparatus for producing pressed component

A method for manufacturing a hat-shaped cross-section component includes a gripping process, a bending and stretching process, and a bend back process. In the gripping process, a pair of vertical walls of an elongated preliminarily formed component are disposed outside of a punch, and a top plate is gripped using the punch and a pad. In the bending and stretching process, die moves toward the punch side relative to the preliminarily formed component, and the die bends and stretches the vertical walls toward the opposite side to the top plate at one side in the length direction of the preliminarily formed component. In the bend back process, a holder moves toward the pad side relative to the preliminarily formed component, and the holder bends back the vertical walls toward the top plate side at another side in the length direction of the preliminarily formed component.

Hat-shaped cross-section component manufacturing method

A hat-shaped cross-section component manufacturing apparatus includes: a die that includes a forming face that grips and presses a metal stock sheet; a blank holder, that includes a forming face that grips and presses the metal stock sheet so as to configure a forming face corresponding to the forming face of the die, a pad that is disposed inside the opening formed in the die, and that includes a forming face that grips and presses the metal stock sheet; and a punch that is disposed facing the pad and that includes a forming face that grips and presses the metal stock sheet so as to configure a forming face corresponding to the forming face of the pad. The hat-shaped cross-section component manufacturing apparatus further includes a pressure limiting device that limits a formed curving component from being pressed between the pad and the blank holder during demolding.

Hat-shaped cross-section component manufacturing apparatus

A method produces a press-molded article having a hat shaped cross-section with flanges at both sides, a top plate, vertical walls at both sides, and having a shape curved in the vertical direction to an inverted checkmark shape along the longitudinal direction when the molded article is viewed from a side face with the top plate section on the top side. An intermediate molded body is formed by drawing a metal stock sheet into an intermediate shape, and after preparing the outside shape of the intermediate molded body by trimming, drawing is subsequently performed to form the final shape.

The hat-shaped cross-section component manufacturing apparatus further includes a pressure limiting device configured including a floating block that moves together with the blank holder when forming of a curving component has been completed, that is interposed between the pad and the blank holder, and that limits pressing of the formed curving component between the pad and the blank holder during demolding.

The top plate section of the metal stock is pressed and clamped against a punch by a pad, a portion that will be at the outside of the L shaped curve is pressed and camped against a die by a blank holder, a bender is moved, and a vertical wall portion at the inside of the L shaped curved of the metal stock sheet and the flange portion joined to the vertical wall at the inside of the L shaped curve are molded. The metal stock sheet is moved in the direction toward the blank holder while the metal stock sheet being pressed and clamped, and a vertical wall portion at the outside of the L shaped curve of the L shaped hat shaped cross-section and the flange portion joined to the vertical wall at the outside of the L shaped curve are molded.
