A heat-resistant hose for a vehicle available at a low cost and excellent in interlayer adhesiveness includes: an inner layer; and an outer layer directly formed on an outer peripheral surface of the inner layer, in which the inner layer comprises a fluorine-based rubber composition containing the following components (a) to (e): (a) a fluorine-based rubber; (b) a polyol-based vulcanizing agent; (c) an organic onium compound; (d) magnesium oxide; and (e) calcium hydroxide, and the outer layer comprises an acrylic rubber composition containing the following components (A) to (C): (A) an acrylic rubber; (B) a benzenediol; and (C) at least one of an imidazole compound and a diamine-based vulcanizing agent.

Vehicle-mounted heat-resistant hose

An acrylic rubber composition in which the base material is an acrylic rubber comprising monomer units of ethyl acrylate, n-butyl acrylate, and cure site monomer, with a ratio (B/A) of the amount of n-butyl acrylate (B) with respect to ethyl acrylate (A) of 1.0 or less by weight. A heat-resistant hose having a layer of this acrylic rubber composition as the innermost layer. The above constitution of the invention provides the acrylic rubber composition effective for preventing aluminum fixing while retaining the material properties of acrylic rubber and its excellent characteristics. The present invention also provides a heat-resistant hose using this acrylic rubber composition at the surface which is to be fitted with an aluminum member.

Acrylic rubber composition and heat-resistant hose

The present invention provides a heat resistant fuel hose comprising a rubber inner pipe with an inner layer and an outer layer in the inner pipe. The inner layer of the inner pipe comprises a hydrogenated acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (H-NBR) that is mixed with zinc oxide (ZnO) and magnesium oxide (MgO) as acid acceptors and is peroxide vulcanized. The outer layer of the inner pipe comprises an epoxy cross-linking type acrylic rubber (ACM) that has been vulcanized bonded to the inner layer of the inner pipe. The inner layer and outer layer of the inner pipe of the heat resistant fuel hose of the present invention are strongly bonded, and the rubber inner pipe has excellent heat resistance.

Heat resistant fuel hose

The present invention provides a method of vulcanized bonding of heat resistant rubber. Vulcanized bonding of a hydrogenated acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (H-NBR) and an acrylic rubber (ACM) comprises a step for mixing zinc oxide (ZnO) and magnesium oxide (MgO) as acid acceptors into non-vulcanized H-NBR; and a step for the peroxide vulcanization of the H-NBR at the same time as the vulcanized bonding of the ACM, which is of an epoxy cross-linking type. Thus, hydrogenated acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (H-NBR) and acrylic rubber (ACM) are vulcanized bonded securely while also providing heat resistance.

Method of vulcanized bonding of heat-resistant rubber

A rubber hose having a multilayer wall is formed of an inner layer of NBR type rubber having a high AN content, available at a low cost and highly impermeable to fuel and an outer layer of a rubber composition having a minimum Mooney viscosity of 25 to 65 at its curing temperature and highly resistant to flattening. Those layers are extruded and cured together without the aid of any mandrel owing to the inside diameter and wall thickness of the hose and the thickness of the outer layer which fall within specific ranges. This process enables the manufacture of a fuel hose having a high fuel impermeability at a low cost, while protecting its inner wall effectively from flattening during curing.

A vibration absorbing rubber hose having a laminar structure including an inner rubber layer, a reinforcing layer, and an outer rubber layer, which layers are laminated integrally with one another in the order of description in a radially outward direction of the rubber hose, wherein the inner rubber layer is formed of a butyl rubber material and/or a halogenated butyl rubber material while the outer rubber layer is formed of an EPM material consisting of ethylene-propylene copolymer.

Fuel hose

A relatively small amount of a plasticizer having an SP value of at least 8.8 and a molecular weight of at most 550 is added to blend rubber of NBR-PVC in which NBR has an AN content of from 43 to 50% by weight. The fuel impermeability and the low-temperature flexibility of the resulting rubber composition are improved to be comparable to those of FKM, and the amount of the plasticizer and its reaction product to be released from the rubber composition in fuel is reduced. Adding a controlled amount of carbon black to the rubber composition makes the composition have favorable electroconductivity. The rubber composition is formed into hoses or electroconductive hoses of low fuel permeation.

A heat-resistant hose for transport of high temperature fluid, wherein the inner surface of the hose in contact with said fluid comprises a material containing blended rubber of fluorinated rubber (FKM) and acrylic rubber (ACM). In particular, a heat-resistant hose for transport of fluid containing high temperature oil which comprises an inner tubular body composed of one or more layers at least the most inner layer of which consists of blended rubber of FKM and ACM, fiber reinforcements wound around the outer surface of said inner tubular body the thread extracting force of which the fiber reinforcements is not less than 1N/mm, and an outer tubular body composed of one or more layers bonded on the surface of said fiber reinforcements, said most inner layer preferably containing carbon black having the value (A.times.B) of not more than 3500 obtained by multiplying the value A of nitrogen adsorption specific surface area (m.sup.2 /g) by the value B (PHR) of part by weight of amounts of carbon black used is added to the blended rubber.

A laminar structure consisting of at least a first layer (2) formed of a fluoro rubber or a fluoro resin, and a second layer (4) laminated in contact with the first layer and formed of an epichlorohydrin rubber, wherein the improvement comprises; the second layer (4) being formed of a rubber composition which contains 100 parts by weight of an epichlorohydrin rubber material as a base rubber component, 0.1-5 parts by weight of a vulcanizing agent formed of a 2,3-dimercaptoquinoxaline derivative represented by the formula (1), 0.1-5 parts by weight of a salt of 1,8-diazabicyclo(5,4,0)undecene-7 represented by the formula (2), and 1-20 parts by weight of at least one hydrotalcite compound represented by the formula (3), wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 represent a same one or respective different ones of a hydrogen atom and an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms, X.sup.- represents an acid radical of carboxylic acid or phenolic resin, M.sub.1.sup.2+ represents at least one divalent metal selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba, M.sub.2.sup.2+ represents at least one divalent metal selected from the group consisting of Zn, Cd, Pb and Sn, M.sup.3+ represents a trivalent metal, A.sup.n- represents an n-valent anion, a and b respectively represent a real number from 0 to 10, x represents a+b and a real number from 1 to 4, y represents an integer from 1 to 5, and w represents a real number. ##STR1##
