A data center includes: a structure provided with an intake port at one side thereof and an exhaust port at the other side thereof; a rack disposed in the structure; an air blower configured to introduce outside air into the structure through the intake port to circulate the outside air from one side to the other side of the rack; a circulation passage configured to make a first space between the one side of the rack and the intake port and a second space between the other side of the rack and the exhaust port communicate with each other; a circulation amount control equipment disposed within the circulation passage; and an air circulation amount control device configured to control the circulation amount control equipment and an operation state of the electronic equipment such that the amount of the air which circulates the circulation passage is adjusted.

Data center

A modular data center includes: a rack which houses an electronic device; a blower device capable of switching a flowing direction of air and configured to feed the air into the rack; a space housing a moisture absorbent; an in-rack temperature detector which detects a temperature inside the rack; a dew-point temperature detector which detects a dew-point temperature of outside air; and a controller. The controller receives signals inputted from the in-rack temperature detector and the dew-point temperature detector, and controls shutters and the blower device.

At least two regions having different colors and electrical characteristics are defined in a rotatable particle. The rotatable particle receives a rotation moment from an external electric field reaction. A base holds rotatably each rotatable particle. An electric field generating unit generates only during a certain electric field generating period an electric field in a spatial area where the rotatable particle is disposed. The intensity of the electric field is monotonously lowered during at least one third of the certain electric field generating period on a backward side of the period. It is possible to reduce a variation in a rotation operation and display a high quality image.

An ink-jet printing apparatus comprises a plurality of nozzles that eject ink, the nozzles being grouped into two or more nozzle groups; pressure chambers, each being provided to one of the nozzles; ink-ejection energy generators, each being provided for one of the pressure chambers; and a vibration controller configured to supply a non-ejecting vibration signal to the ink-ejection energy generators of each nozzle group at a different timing. The non-ejecting vibration signal causes the corresponding ink-ejection energy generator to produce energy so as not to cause the ink to eject from the nozzle, but cause the liquid surface of the ink to slightly vibrate in the associated nozzle.

It is an exemplified object of the present invention to provide such ink that maintains dispersive and preservative stabilities suitable for inkjet ink, an ink storage storing the ink, and a recording device using the ink. The ink of the present invention is aqueous dispersoid ink comprising at least water, a water-soluble organic solvent and a colorant, and the composition thereof is as follows. A ratio R of Kt to Ko (&equals;Kt/Ko) satisfies R&lE;5, where Ko (&equals;Dm/Do) is a ratio of a maximum particle diameter Dm to an average particle diameter Do in said ink, both of which diameters are measured by detecting backscattering light and converting the detection result into a particle diameter under a dynamic light scattering method as a measurement principle. Kt (&equals;Tm/To) is a ratio of a maximum particle diameter Tm to an average particle diameter To in the ink that has been preserved for six months at a constant temperature of 50&deg; C., both of which diameters are measured by the principle and detection method.

Color recording liquid which comprises, in combination, (a) an aqueous, black-colored recording liquid and (b) at least one aqueous, colored recording liquid which has other hue than black, in which said liquid (b), when applied to a recording medium, can be fixed in said recording medium within a shorter time than the time required when said liquid (a) is fixed in the same recording medium, and either or both of said liquid (a) and said liquid (b) are a recording liquid which comprises water having dispersed therein a coloring material consisting of particles of colored, ionic group-containing resin. Using the color recording liquid, it becomes possible to obtain high quality black recording without causing blurring of color, along with high quality color recording having no bleeding of color in a borderline between two adjacent color recording areas of different hues.
