An electronic apparatus capable of reducing assembly man-hours to reduce fabrication costs and capable of improving appearance design thereof. An upper cover of the electronic apparatus has a first abutment portion abutted with a second abutment portion of a right cover. Engagement portions are formed on an inner face of the upper cover, and latch portions are disposed between adjacent ones of the engagement portions and provided to project toward the right cover beyond the first abutment portion. The right cover has engaged portions disposed along the second abutment portion and provided to project toward the upper cover beyond the second abutment portion, and latched portions are disposed between adjacent ones of the engaged portions. The engaged portions of the right cover are engaged with the engagement portions of the upper cover, and the latched portions of the right cover are latched to the latch portions of the upper cover.

Electronic apparatus having exterior covers

A panel unit that reduces the influence of static electricity applied to a panel member forming a display surface without increasing the size of an electronic apparatus. The panel unit has a touch panel and an FPC including connection sections which are electrically connected to interconnection sections of the touch panel, and is provided with signal lines and a ground interconnection. The FPC includes conductor-exposed portions each provided between the connection sections connected to the interconnection sections and an outer part of the touch panel. The conductor-exposed portions are configured to be prevented from being electrically conducted to the signal lines, and be electrically conducted to the ground interconnection.

Panel unit that reduces influence of static electricity, and electronic apparatus

In a lens barrier device, one barrier blade is arranged at a different height in the optical axis direction from another barrier blade, and a barrier base is provided with a regulating portion which is at the outer peripheral portion of an optical axis forward end side barrier blade and which regulates the position in the optical direction of the optical axis forward end side barrier blade, thus forming the lens barrier device as a unit. If rotation shafts for the barrier blades are formed on an external cover, deformation or the like would be generated when the external cover is assembled to the apparatus, resulting in an increase in the requisite drive force for the opening/closing operation. Hence, it is possible to prevent a suitable opening/closing operation from being hindered by such an increase in the requisite drive force.

Lens barrier device

A lens barrier device includes a first barrier blade including a shielding portion, a connection portion, and an abutment portion. The abutment portion is connected, on an optical axis imaging surface side of the shielding portion, to the shielding portion via the connecting portion. Further, a second barrier blade is provided on an optical axis imaging surface side with respect to the shielding portion. A regulating portion is provided whose optical axis imaging surface side is configured to contact the abutment portion, wherein an outer peripheral portion of the second barrier blade, the connecting portion, and the abutment portion are located in this order from an optical axis center to an optical axis outer side.

Lens barrier device and lens barrel equipped with the same

An optical disk apparatus includes a light source that emits a light flux. A light source drive circuit causes the light source to emit the light flux. An optical base has an optical system disposed thereon. The optical system includes an objective lens for guiding the light flux emitted from the light source to a disk-shaped recording medium. A moving mechanism moves the optical base. A first heat radiation member is connected to the light source, and a second heat radiation member is connected to the light source drive circuit and is different from the first heat radiation member. The first heat radiation member and the second heat radiation member are provided so as to face the disk-shaped recording medium. The first heat radiation member is disposed on the disk-shaped recording medium side with respect to the second heat radiation member, and the first heat radiation member has a hole provided therein, for exposing the second heat radiation member to the disk-shaped recording medium.

Optical disk apparatus and optical pickup

An apparatus for effecting at least one of recording and reproducing information. A first light source has a light intensity and emits a light beam having an emission wavelength. A second light source has another light intensity and emits a light beam having an emission wavelength different from that of the first light source. An optical system guides a light beam emitted from the first light source to a recording medium and guides a light beam reflected from the recording medium to a first photodetector, which generates an output. Another optical system guides a light beam emitted from the second light source to the recording medium and guides another light beam reflected from the recording medium to the second photodetector. A separating optical element guides the light beam emitted from the first light source to the second photodetector, which generates an output. A control circuit receives the output generated by the second photodetector, and controls the light intensity of the first light source based on the output of the second photodetector.

Information recording and/or reproducing apparatus having two photodetectors to control the light intensity of two light sources with different wavelengths

A disk camcorder includes an image pickup optical system including an image pickup element, a memory for temporarily storing recorded information from the image pickup element, and a recording/reproduction unit which records the recording information stored in the memory onto a disk-shaped recording medium through an intermittent operation or reproduces the recording information recorded onto the disk-shaped recording medium through an intermittent operation, and temporarily stores the recording information. The disk camcorder has a plurality of modes including a first mode in which the recording medium is irradiated with light flux having a first laser power for a first time period, and a second mode in which the recording medium is irradiated with light flux having a second laser power lower than the first laser power, for a second time period, longer than the first time period.

Information recording/reproduction apparatus

There is provided an optical information recording/reproducing apparatus including a unit for detecting the focus error signal from the reflected light flux from a recording layer of an optical recording medium, and a unit for focusing the light flux on the recording layer of the optical disk on the basis of the focus error signal. In the case of detecting the focus error signal, the light flux of the effective numeric aperture NAeff&#x3c;1 due to an objective lens and the SIL within a pupil is obtained by a splitting device as the focus error signal, whereby it is possible to suppress the reflected light from the bottom surface of the SIL from being mixed into the focus error signal as a noise.

Optical information recording/reproducing apparatus

An aligning device for a disk recording medium capable of reducing eccentricity using a simple structure, without an increase in cost, is provided. An aligning member has a tapered portion that contacts with a center hole of a disk, and fits with a guide portion that is fixed to a turntable with a sliding gap therebetween. The sliding gap between the aligning member and the guide portion is formed such that a leading end side sliding gap of the turntable in the sliding direction of the aligning member differs from a trailing end side sliding gap of the disk side in the sliding direction. The leading end side sliding gap is formed smaller than the trailing end side sliding gap. The amount of eccentricity of the disk becomes smaller according to this structure.

An easy-to-manufacture spindle motor has an aligning mechanism whose precision is equal to that of cutting of metallic materials without entailing an extra cost. The aligning mechanism is in contact with the center hole of a disk-shaped recording medium and comprises a turntable and an aligning member that has a sliding portion which can be slidably fitted into a guide portion disposed on the turntable. At least one of respective sliding faces of the guide portion disposed on the turntable and the aligning member is configured of a metallic component, and parts other than the metallic component or components of the turntable and/or aligning member are configured of resin materials.

The magneto-optical recording apparatus of the present invention comprises: a magnetic head of which one end is fixed and of which the other end is free and provided with a magnetic field generating portion for applying a magnetic field onto a magneto-optical recording medium; an optical pickup, provided opposite the magnetic head with the recording medium between them, for irradiating a portion applied with a magnetic field from the magnetic head with a light beam; and a member for regulating displacement of the magnetic head in a direction parallel to a magneto-optical recording medium surface.
