During the forward driving of a recording motor, a platen roller is forwardly rotated and a de-curl shaft is rotated so as to bear against a recording sheet and at this time, a cutter is not driven. During the reverse driving of the recording motor 31, the cutter 17 is first driven to cut the recording sheet 14, whereafter the platen roller 15 is reversely driven and the de-curl shaft 27a becomes spaced apart from the recording sheet 14.

Recording apparatus

The present invention relates to an image formation apparatus comprising a first housing and a second housing which can be freely opened and closed, and in the first housing a locking nail is provided while a locking member is provided in the second housing, to which the locking nail can be hooked or released therefrom. Then, detection means is provided for the locking member in the second housing for detecting whether the locking nail is hooked or its hooking is released.

Image formation apparatus

An original feeding apparatus is structured with a first housing and second housing to enable the second housing to be opened and closed, and is provided with a feeding member for carrying an original respectively in the first housing and second housing. A first detector detects the hook state of the conversation communication device and a second detector detects the presence or absence of data. In response to the selection key input to dial the selected telephone number, a controller selects either the first or the second telephone number data according to the operation of the first and second detectors.

Communication apparatus

There is provided an image recording apparatus to record an image onto a recording sheet in a facsimile apparatus or the like. This recording apparatus comprises: a recording head for recording an image onto the recording sheet; a rotary platen roller for conveying the recording sheet; a guide member for guiding the recording sheet along the peripheral surface of the platen roller; and a device to rotatably support the guide member around the rotary shaft of the platen roller as a rotational center. The recording head is arranged so as to be come into pressure contact with the peripheral surface of the platen roller. A pair of cam members for separating the recording head away from the platen roller are attached integrally with the guide member. With this apparatus, even if the sheet holder and platen roller are closely located, the recording sheet can be easily inserted into the gap therebetween. The apparatus can be miniaturized.

An image reading apparatus has conveying means for conveying a sheet, a transparent member for intimately contacting the sheet conveyed by the conveying means, a photoelectric conversion element provided on or in proximity to the transparent member for reading an image formed on the sheet conveyed by the conveying means, support means for supporting the conveying means, and positioning means provided on the support means for positioning the photoelectric conversion element relative to the conveying means.

Sheet conveying and reading apparatus
