A fuel supply device includes an inlet pipe, a first end of the inlet pipe configured to be connected to an oil supply port and a second end of the inlet pipe configured to be connected to a fuel tank and an air flow path, an upstream side end of the air flow path configured to be open to the outside and a downstream side end of the air flow path configured to be connected to the fuel tank. The air flow path includes a negative pressure valve configured to move a valve body to open a valve port when the pressure in the fuel tank becomes a negative pressure and an air filter disposed upstream of the negative pressure valve.

Fuel supply device

A fuel supply device includes a valve body and a filter unit accommodating an air filter and a valve cap are attached to a tubular portion provided on a side surface of an inlet pipe. When a fuel tank has a negative pressure, the valve body opens and the negative pressure is eliminated by clean atmospheric air introduction. A projection portion is provided on the filter unit side of the valve body. Accordingly, attachment of the valve body into the tubular portion and attachment of the tubular portion and the filter unit are reliably performed, the reliability of valve body opening and closing is improved, and attachment workability is improved.

The fuel supply device comprises a filler neck provided to include a fuel supply port which a fueling gun is inserted in and configured to form part of a fuel passage from the fuel supply port to a fuel tank, a fuel vapor pipe connected with the fuel tank and with a fuel vapor port and configured to supply a fuel vapor in the fuel tank to an internal passage of the filler neck main body, and a buffer member at least partly placed between a filler neck main body and the fuel vapor port in a neighborhood of a branch portion where the fuel vapor port is branched off from the filler neck main body. The filler neck comprises the filler neck main body including the internal passage and the fuel vapor port branched off from the filler neck main body.

A fuel system component used to supply a fuel to a fuel tank or used to discharge the fuel from the fuel tank comprises a first resin layer; and a second resin layer formed in a similar color to that of the first resin layer and configured to include a welding portion that is welded to the first resin layer and an exposed portion that is not adjacent to or in contact with the first resin layer. A belt-like portion is formed on a first resin layer-side and conically shaped surface of the exposed portion of the second resin layer at a distance from a boundary between the welding portion and the exposed portion and is configured to include at least one of a concavity and a convexity extended intermittently or continuously.

Fuel system component

A fuel supply apparatus comprises a filler neck body including a hollow fuel passage-forming structure configured to form a fuel passage and a fuel vapor port branched off from the fuel passage-forming structure; and a nozzle guide formed in a tubular shape to introduce a fueling nozzle. The nozzle guide includes a vapor flow path portion configured to introduce fuel vapor flowing into the fuel vapor port in a tank direction. The vapor flow path portion has a slow-down portion configured to slow down the fuel vapor introduced in the tank direction.

Fuel supply apparatus

A filler pipe includes a nozzle guide that is mounted on an inlet part of the filler pipe and holds a nozzle end part of a fueling gun. The nozzle guide includes a nozzle guide mounting part, which is mounted on the inlet part of the filler pipe, a nozzle guide holding part, which is positioned in a distal end of the nozzle guide, and holds the nozzle end part of the fueling gun, and a nozzle guide connecting part that connects the nozzle guide mounting part and the nozzle guide holding part with each other. The nozzle guide holding part has a plurality of projecting parts that are able to abut on an outer surface of a nozzle of the fueling gun. The nozzle guide is mounted on the inlet part of the filler pipe, at the nozzle guide mounting part, by swaging or spot welding.

Filler pipe

A fuel tank system including a fuel tank internally storing fuel, a canister in which vaporized fuel generated in the fuel tank is adsorbed and desorbed by an adsorbent, and open to the atmosphere by an atmosphere communication pipe, a purging pipe placing an engine in communication with the canister, a vent pipe placing the fuel tank in communication with the canister, a negative pressure pump provided at the atmosphere communication pipe, causing negative pressure to act on the fuel tank from the canister, and a negative pressure open/close valve provided at the vent pipe, maintaining an open state at a pressure difference between a negative pump pressure acting from the negative pressure pump and a tank internal pressure acting from the fuel tank, and closing at a pressure difference between a negative purging pressure acting from the engine and the tank internal pressure.

Fuel tank system

A movement permitting section is provided at a nozzle guideat an interior of an inlet pipe. When a stopperreceives pushing force toward a fuel tank side from a refueling nozzle, the movement permitting section deforms so as to permit movement of the stoppertoward a radial direction outer side of the nozzle guideor toward a fuel tank side.

Refueling portion structure

An object is to provide a fuel supply apparatus that is configured to cause fuel vapor generated by vaporization of a fuel circulated in a fuel tank to be smoothly joined with the supplied fuel. The fuel supply apparatus comprises a filler neck body that is configured to include a hollow fuel passage-forming portion arranged to define a fuel passage and a breather port; a nozzle guide that is placed inside of the fuel passage-forming portion and is configured to introduce a fueling nozzle; a guide portion that is configured to introduce an inflow gas flowing in from the breather port, to the fuel passage via an outer circumferential space; and a rib that is provided between the guide portion and a lower end in the first direction of the nozzle guide and is configured to divide the inflow gas introduced through the fuel passage.

A flow inhibiting member that inhibits a flow of vapor is provided, between a full-tank regulating valve and a sealing valve, at a communication pipe that communicates a canister and a full-tank regulating valve of a fuel tank.

Fuel tank structure

A fuel tank supplying device includes: a fuel tank that can accommodate fuel at an interior; a circulation flow path that is connected to an interior of the fuel tank and a fuel refueling port side, and that circulates evaporated fuel vapor that is within the fuel tank to the fuel refueling port side; a variable valve that is provided on the circulation flow path, and adjusts a circulated amount of the evaporated fuel vapor; and air-passage flow path inner diameter changing means that is provided at the variable valve, and that is for changing an inner diameter of a air-passage flow path, through which the evaporated fuel vapor flows, in accordance with internal pressure of the fuel tank, and that, when the internal pressure of the fuel tank is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, makes the inner diameter of the air-passage flow path smaller.

Fuel supplying device

A filler pipe is attached to a retainer that holds a fuel nozzle holder. The retainer includes: a first attaching portion attached to an inlet portion of the filler pipe; a holding portion having an engaging hole; and an opening positioned at a first end of the retainer, which is closer to a longitudinal center of the filler pipe than a second end is. The fuel nozzle holder includes: a second attaching portion and including an engaging piece that engages the engaging hole; and a main body extending from the second attaching portion toward the longitudinal center of the filler pipe. The engaging piece is surrounded at three sides by a groove having a U-shape. The engaging piece is connected to the second attaching portion on the main body-side. The holding portion extends toward the longitudinal center of the filler pipe to cover the groove.

Filler pipe and vehicle fuel filler port structure

A bypass flow channel that bypasses part of an adsorbent is provided between an engine-side port and an atmosphere-side port in a gas flow channel of a canister body. Furthermore, a flow rate increasing member that increases the ratio of flow rate in the bypass flow channel when the flow velocity of a gas at the time of purge has exceeded a predetermined value is provided.

Canister

A fuel tank system includes: a fuel tank; a canister; a vent pipe; a valve member that is provided at the vent pipe and is sectioned into a tank-side main chamber, a canister-side main chamber and a back pressure chamber; a pipe configured to open an interior of the canister to the atmosphere; a negative pressure pump that is provided at the pipe, and applies negative pressure through the canister and the vent pipe to a fuel tank interior; a judging means for judging absence/presence of perforation of the fuel tank from behavior of air pressure at a time when negative pressure is generated at the negative pressure pump; and a negative pressure application path that communicates the pipe with the back pressure chamber, and that is configured to apply negative pressure from the negative pressure pump to the back pressure chamber without the negative pressure going through the canister.

Fuel tank system and method for sensing perforation

A valve member is provided to a vent pipe for communicating a fuel tank with a canister. A solenoid valve is provided to a canister side bypass passage between a back pressure chamber of the valve member and the canister side vent pipe. An extending member is provided to restrict the valve lift amount in accordance with the internal pressure of the fuel tank.
