An optical connector plug includes a front housing, configured to hold a ferrule and to be fitted with a fitting portion of a coupling counterpart member, and a rear housing, mounted to the front housing to be allowed to slide toward front and rear directions at a rear side of the front housing. The front housing includes a latching piece with elasticity. The latching piece includes a locking portion, engageable with an engaging portion for fitting of the coupling counterpart member, and a releasing portion, configured to release the locking portion from an engaging state with the engaging portion. The rear housing includes a releasing lever. The releasing lever includes a hook portion, formed at a front part and configured to engage with the releasing portion at a time of retreat of the rear housing, so as to activate a release, and a knob portion for retreat.

An extraction mechanism A has: a release part, e.g., a slider, configured to release an engagement between a cageand a device, e.g., an optical module, inserted into the cageand engaged and latched to the cage; an ejection part, e.g., an ejector, etc., configured to eject the device out of the cage; and a release leverconfigured to activate the release part and the ejection part. To reduce adverse effects due to a dead zone in a pulse-width modulation circuit provided for avoiding short-circuiting in an inverter circuit, distortions of sine wave currents generated when low-frequency current commands are given, sound produced due to the excitation, and torque variations, a synchronous motor drive apparatus has been provided. The apparatus comprises a current detector circuit for detecting drive currents given to the synchronous motor, a difference output circuit for producing as outputs the differences between current commands given to the synchronous motor and the detected currents, a pulse-width modulation circuit for modulating signals indicative of the differences by way of pulse-duration modulation, an inverter circuit for driving the synchronous motor, a voltage detector circuit for detecting output voltages from output terminals of the inverter circuit, and a circuit for generating the differences between output voltages from the difference output circuit and the detected output voltages, whereby the synchronous motor can be driven by the outputs from the inverter circuit which is operated by voltage command values indicating the last-mentioned differences.

Synchronous motor drive apparatus

An apparatus for driving an A.C. motor includes a circuit for computing the sum of polyphase A.C. signals used to drive a pulse-width modulation circuit for controlling an inverter, and for limiting the amplitude of a current command when said sum is other than zero. When an imbalance occurs in the polyphase A.C. signals, the current command amplitude is immediately limited in accordance with the state of the imbalance to prevent saturation of a current amplifier that is operable to produce the polyphase A.C. signals by amplifying the outputs of an arithmetic circuit. These outputs are difference currents obtained by computing the difference between polyphase command currents and corresponding ones of detected polyphase currents actually applied to the A.C. motor. Preventing saturation of the current amplifier assures that the polyphase currents actually applied to the A.C. motor will be held in a balanced state at all times.
