A panel retention structure includes a retention member including a head portion, a neck portion and a flange portion being provided in the aforementioned order from an end of the retention member. The neck portion includes a dimension which is set smaller than a dimension of a first hole and a dimension of a second hole, and passes through the first hole and the second hole. The head portion is in contact with a confronting surface serving as a surface of a retention wall facing a panel body in one of a state where the head portion is elastically in contact with the panel body, and a state where an elastic wall being elastically in contact with an opposing surface serving as a surface of the retention wall which opposes the panel body is provided.

Panel retention structure

A sunroof device includes support members, which are attached to a movable panel, sliding members, which are slidable along guide rails, movable members, rotating bodies, two front-side rack gears, and two rear-side rack gears. Each movable member is fixed to one of the sliding members and supported by the corresponding one of the support members to be movable. Front and rear-side rotating bodies are respectively supported by front and rear portions of the movable panel. The front-side rack gears are coupled to the front-side rotating body such that the distances from the center of the movable panel to the front ends of the two movable members are equal. The rear-side rack gears are coupled to the rear-side rotating body such that distances from the center of the movable panel to the rear ends of the two movable members are equal.

Sunroof device

A sunroof device includes a sunroof unit, a looped first seal, and a second seal. The sunroof unit supports a panel capable of closing an opening of a roof of a vehicle. The sunroof unit includes a frame provided with two guide rails placed on two edges of the opening in a vehicle widthwise direction and two housings placed on two edges of the opening in a vehicle front-to-rear direction to connect front ends of the two guide rails to each other and rear ends of the two guide rails to each other in the vehicle widthwise direction. The first seal is arranged between an entire periphery of the opening and the frame. The second seal is arranged between opposing surfaces of the guide rails and the housings at portions where the guide rails are coupled to the housings. The second seal is butt against the first seal.

A shade apparatus for a vehicle includes a guide rail mechanism adapted to be arranged along a side portion of an inner periphery of an opening formed in an interior ceiling member of the vehicle, a shade panel mechanism slidably supported by the guide rail mechanism, configured to open and close the opening of the interior ceiling member, and including first and second shade panels, an engaging member arranged at one of the first and second shade panels, and an elastic member arranged at the other of the first and second shade panels and including a fixing portion and a deformable portion. The first and second shade panels move as a unit in the moving direction after one of the first and second shade panels moves relative to the other of the first and second shade panels in the moving direction and the engaging member engages with the elastic member.

Shade apparatus for vehicle

A sunroof apparatus comprises a movable panel provided on an opening portion of a vehicle roof and capable of tilting-up and sliding, a functional bracket that supports the movable panel, a drive member actuated to move in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle along a guide rail attached to the vehicle roof, a front shoe connected to the drive member for controlling the movements of a front portion of the functional bracket by means of a front functional member, as a consequence of moving in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle along the guide rail in accordance with the movements of the drive member and a rear shoe connected to the drive member for controlling movement of a rear portion of the functional bracket by means of a rear functional member, as a consequence of moving in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle along the guide rail in accordance with the movements of the drive member, wherein the front shoe and the rear shoe are supported by an identical guide portion of the guide rail.

Sunroof apparatus

A shade apparatus, attached to a sunroof apparatus, including a transparent window, the transparent window being supported by a window supporting member so as to be attached to a vehicle roof, and also capable of being opened and closed, comprises a winding-type roof shade apparatus provided inwards of the transparent window so as to enable a shade cloth, which blocks light from entering therethrough, to be pulled in and pulled out, a lock mechanism attached to a side portion of the winding-type roof shade apparatus for maintaining the winding-type roof shade apparatus in a closed state, a first unlocking portion for manually unlocking the lock mechanism and a second unlocking portion for unlocking the lock mechanism by means of a movement of the window supporting member.

Shade apparatus

A vehicle sun roof apparatus includes a deflector movable in a vehicle longitudinal direction in response to an operation of a sliding panel. The deflector is operatively connected to a cam arranged behind an arm portion of the deflector. The cam is movable in the vehicle longitudinal direction in response to a vehicle speed for moving a rear end of the arm portion in a vehicle vertical direction. The vehicle sun roof apparatus further includes a link mechanism freely rotatably fixed at an approximately central portion of the arm portion ( ). The link mechanism is rotatable within a predetermined angle relative to the arm portion and is rotatable relative to the vehicle roof.
