There is provided a culture observation system by which even a culture other than an observation target culture can be cultured and observation can be properly performed by a microscope during culturing of the culture. Culture observation system

A rack device having a receiver that can be prevented from being separated from a rack post in an incubator. A rack device in which a receiver is mounted between a pair of rack posts to hold a rack on the receiver includes a pair of engaging hooks which are formed in the receiver and a plurality of engaging holes which are formed in both the rack posts and in which both of the engaging hooks of the receiver disengageably engage, respectively. The rack posts are configured to be able to change an interval there between and select a first state in which the engaging hooks can be disengaged from the engaging holes and a second state in which the movement of the receiver is restricted while the engaging hooks be kept to engage in the engaging holes by changing the interval between the rack posts.

Rack device and incubator having the same

An object of the invention is to provide a multigas incubator capable of shortening humidity-returning time after closing its door. The incubator comprises an adiabatic box main body having an opening on a front face thereof, an adiabatic door mounted on the adiabatic box main body in an openable and closable manner, a transparent inner door for openably closing the opening, and an incubation room surrounded by the inner door and the adiabatic box main body for incubating samples such as cells, microbes and the like. The adiabatic box main body comprises an outer box made of a metal, an inner box made of a metal, a heat insulating material arranged inside the outer box between the outer and inner boxes, and an air layer arranged more inside than the heat insulating material. Gases supplied for controlling concentrations of gases in the incubation room are jetted into humidification water.
