An electroluminescent lamp (EL lamp) is formed by stacking a light-transmitting electrode-layer, an adhesive synthetic resin layer, a luminescent layer formed of the synthetic resin layer with phosphor particles fixed uniformly, a dielectric layer and a back electrode-layer on a transparent substrate sequentially. By this structure, a uniform EL lamp having improved brightness can be produced. A method for manufacturing the EL lamp includes following steps for fixing the phosphor particles in the synthetic resin layer uniformly. (1) sinking the phosphor particles in the synthetic resin layer by heating and pressing, after spraying the phosphor particles. (2) blowing the phosphor particles to the synthetic resin layer with heated air. As a result, the phosphor particles are uniformly fixed in the synthetic resin layer having uniform thickness.

In a wiring board having a terminal for connection of circuits in a variety of electronic devices, a joining section of the terminal is placed on a connecting section of a wiring pattern on the top surface of a lower substrate, two layers of adhesives having different softening temperatures are formed between the lower substrate and an upper substrate, and the lower substrate and the upper substrate are cemented sandwiching the joining section. With this structure, a stable holding force can be secured over a wide temperature range.

An EL sheet is used as a back light of an operating section of various electronic apparatuses. The EL sheet generates a stable click feel and is easily processed. A switch employing the EL sheet is also provided. An EL element layer is not formed at a bent section or its vicinity around a root section of a diaphragm. Only conductive patterns, which are coupled to a light-transmissible electrode layer and a back electrode layer respectively, are formed there. Instead of the conductive patterns, insulating film can be exposed there.

A printing sheet can be easily peeled from a base film. A printing sheet can be easily and efficiently mounted on an appliance. It includes a base film as a base material, an adhesive applied on the surface of the base material, and a main body film adhered to the base material through the adhesive. The main body film may be peeled from the adhesive and base material. The main body film has a plurality of printing sheets, and each printing sheet of the printing sheets has a half-cut portion cutting off only the printing sheet without cutting off the base material, so that each printing sheet may be peeled from the adhesive and base material. Preferably, the base film has a greater thickness than the main body film. The half-cut portion has an end portion in a state being lifted from the base material having the adhesive.

An electrical contact material comprising silver, bismuth oxide and tin oxide with or without tin metal, wherein the amounts of the bismuth and the tin on the basis of the sum weight of the metals in both the metal component and in the metal oxide component are 1.5 to 6 weight percent and 0.1 to 6 weight percent, respectively. This electrical contact material has high resistance to both welding and arc erosion. An advantageous method of making the electrical contact material comprises preparing a metal alloy composed of all the above metals in the above weight ratio and internally oxidizing the bismuth completely in the alloy after shaping the alloy to a desired electrical contact material shape or after crushing the alloy to scaly flakes.
