A connector () has a casing-side holding portion () that fits in an opening (H) in a casing (C), and device-side holding portions () for receiving connectors (KC) of a device (K) in the casing (C). Connector and a method of forming it

Terminal fittings ( A, B) are inserted into cavities ( ) through terminal insertion holes ( ) formed at the front sides of the cavities ( ) and a front holder ( ) is mounted onto the front surface of a housing ( ) to prevent the terminal fittings ( A, B) from coming out. Coupling portions ( ) of the terminal fittings ( A, B) are positioned by shake preventing holes ( ) at the rear sides of the cavities ( ). Thus, the terminal fittings ( A, B) are prevented from shaking. Connector for circuit board and method of assembling it

A connector apparatus includes a relay connector ( ) with an outer connector section ( ) adapted to engage a mating connector and an inner connector section ( ) adapted to engage a PCB connector ( ). Connector apparatus for hardware

A wire distribution member consists of a plurality of electrical conductors and wrapping members . The electrical conductors comprise wires having a degree of rigidity whereby they maintain their own shape independently, and are bent along a prescribed wire distribution path which passes along electrical components including terminal fittings and , switches and , bulbs , and a connector member , etc. The wrapping members are sheet-like and leave portions which join with the electrical components uncovered. These wrapping members are joined together so as to maintain the electrical conductors along the prescribed wire distribution path. As a result, each electrical conductor does not need to be attached to the body separately. Further, the electrical conductors have a degree of rigidity whereby they maintain their own shape independently and, consequently, the position of all of the electrical conductors can be fixed by joining the wrapping members and a portion of the electrical conductors to the body

Wire distribution member and wire distribution configuration

A molded coil is provided for preventing the entrance of water, oil and the like into the inside a coil. The molded coil 1 is comprised of a coil 2 provided therein and having the outer surfaces thereof covered by a resin material, and a molded element 17 formed by curing the resin material. Bulging portions 6 are provided at the opposite ends of a shaft 5 of a bobbin 3 of the coil 2. The molded element 17 is so formed as to cover the coil 2 from the outer surfaces of the two bulging portions 6 over the outer circumferential surface of the wound wire 4. On the outer surface of the lower bulging portion 6 is provided an embossed engaging portion in the form of a closed ring along the entire circumference of the bulging portion 6. Thus, even if water, oil or the like enters through mold detaching holes 18, it will not reach the inside of the coil 2.

Molded coil a method and a mold for producing the same

An installation structure can carry out a work of attaching a connector (1) to a fuel tank with one touch without using a particular equipment or requiring a great space. A holding sleeve (24) is secured to a lid plate (22) of the fuel tank with the sleeve projecting into an interior of the tank. The holding sleeve (24) is provided in its opposite outer peripheral positions with each of a pair of windows (30). An elastic clip (29) having a substantially U-shaped configuration is mounted on the holding sleeve (24) with each leg (33) of the clip (29) projecting into an interior of the sleeve (24) through each window (30). An inner connection portion (5) of the connector (1) is provided in its opposite outer peripheral position with each of a pair of engaging grooves (36). The portion (5) is also provided in its outer surface below each engaging groove (36) with an inclined guide face (38). When the portion (5) of the connector (1) is being inserted into the holding sleeve (24), the legs (33) are deflected outwardly by the guide faces (38). When the portion (5) is completely inserted in the sleeve (24), the legs (33) fit in the respective grooves (36) by their elastic recovery forces, thereby preventing the connector (1) from coming out of the lid plate (22).

Connector installation structure for fuel tank

A bulb socket mounting structure inhibits a bulb socket mounted on a panel from being turned to prevent the bulb socket from unintentionally coming off the panel. The bulb socket mounting structure includes a bulb socket with a fixing flange and a locking piece extending from the fixing flange. The locking piece includes a bending portion extended tangentially off an outer cylindrical surface of the fixing flange with a hook at the end of the bending portion away from the fixing flange. The panel forms an engaging recess at a predetermined position to fixedly engage the hook of the locking piece. A relief groove has an inclined guide surface at the end abutting the engaging recess. When the bulb socket is inserted into a mounting hole formed in the panel, the hook engages the relief guide. From this position, the bulb socket rotates toward a socket locking position. The hook of the locking piece moves along the relief groove without bending the locking piece. Immediately before being engaged with the engaging recess, the hook slides up the inclined guide surface while bending the locking piece. Finally the bending locking piece is restored when the bulb socket enters the socket locking position where the hook engages the engaging recess.

Light bulb socket mounting structure and method

A socket intended to receive and make electrical contact between an electrical unit, such as a wedge based light bulb, and a connector. A core including an inner cylinder is provided with an insertion opening at one end. There is an electrically conductive terminal which includes a unit contact at the distal end within the inner cylinder and adjacent the insertion opening. A connector contact extends from the proximal end of the conductive terminal, remote from the distal end, through a terminal hole in the inner cylinder, out of the interior space, and into a connector receiver. The terminal is provided with contacts to receive the unit, and a wall plate adjacent the inner side wall of the inner cylinder. In addition, there is a shield plate adjacent a proximal end which overlies the terminal hole, thereby preventing entry of molding resin into the interior space where it can impair the integrity of the connection.

Socket for connection of an electrical unit with a connector

A method of making an electrical socket having an insertion part, a receptacle, and an electrically conductive terminal therebetween. The insertion part and the receptacle are at an angle to each other and the conductive terminal is bent at substantially the same angle. A tubular member is molded and one end of the conductive terminal is inserted through an insertion hole in the closed end so that the other end projects therefrom. This end is bent, preferably to a 90.degree. angle with the remainder of the conductive terminal, thereby forming the core member. The core member is inserted into a mold whereby, when molding resin is introduced into said mold, the outer tube and the receptacle are integrally formed.

Method of making electrical socket

A lower case (30), constituting a housing, has a terminal fitting insertion tube (35) supporting a terminal (42) of an electrical appliance (40). The insertion hole (35) allows the insertion of a terminal fitting (50) which is inserted from the exterior for direct contact with the terminal of the electrical appliance. Intermediate wiring is unnecessary.

Housing for an electrical device

An object of the invention is to provide a light bulb socket that prevents the erroneous insertion of a light bulb. A light bulb socket has contactor inserting slits 15 and 16 with their inlets 15a and 16a at the edge of the opening of a bulb engaging section 12, and bulb inserting grooves 31. The inlets 31a of bulb inserting grooves 31 have smaller heights than the inlets 15a and 16a of the contactor inserting slits 15 and 16. The edge of the opening of the bulb inserting section slopes from each of the inlets 15a and 16a down to the inlets 31a, thus providing guide surfaces 36. The light bulb is connected to the bulb socket by turning it clockwise and counterclockwise with its base inserted into the bulb engaging section 12. Even if, in this operation, locking pins 6 protruded from the bulb base are located near the inlets 15a and 16a of the contactor inserting slits 15 and 16, they are not focused into the inlets 15a and 16a, and instead are slid down the guide surfaces 36, because the edge of the opening of the bulb engaging section 12 slopes from each of the inlets 15a and 16a down to the inlets 31a. When, under this condition, the light bulb 1 is pushed into the bulb socket S, the pins 6 are led along the guide surfaces 36 to the inlets 31a of the bulb inserting grooves 31.

Bulb socket and method for using

A male screw portion 13 is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the connector 10, a female screw 22 is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the tube 21, and the two are screwed together to prevent withdrawal. A ratchet catch projection 15a1 is provided on the bottom surface of the arm 15a formed on the side of the connector body 10, arranged in such a way that it allows turning in the fastening direction with respect to the catch projection 24a of the lock member 24 formed on the edge of the opening 21a, and does not allow turning in the reverse direction.

Electrical connector

A bulb socket for holding a wedge base bulb which has a bulb portion, a base portion and power terminals, the bulb socket comprising a socket body, supplying terminals and holder members. The socket body is provided for receiving the base portion of the wedge base bulb. The supplying terminals are electrically connecting with the respective power terminals of the wedge base bulb under a predetermined pressure, and are held by the socket body. The holder members are holding the base portion of the wedge base bulb therebetween under a predetermined pressure. And the holder members are separate from the supplying terminals, and are attached to the socket body.

Bulb socket

This invention aims to efficiently assemble a pressure sensor 10 to a connector for a fuel tank. A connector adapted to be connected to electrical devices for the fuel tank is attached to a base plate 1 which closes an opening in the tank. A connector housing 4 is provided with an accommodating chamber 11 in which the pressure sensor 10 is secured. It is possible to assure to provide a space for a pressure sensor 10 in an existing connector, to prevent an increase in the number of connectors, and to decrease costs.

Differential pressure sensor connector for fuel tank

A cathode terminal, to be mounted on a bulb socket, comprising a first connection strip which is elastically connected with the cathode of a mouth piece of a bulb; and a second connection strip to be connected with a connector. The cathode terminal has a covering portion formed at the leading end thereof by bending said cathode terminal so as to cover the upper end of said opening of said terminal inserting groove. Therefore, the pin of the bulb cannot be inserted into the cathode terminal inserting groove.
