A turbocharger includes a rotor shaft that is rotationally driven, a compressor impeller attached to the rotor shaft, and a cylindrical bearing portion that includes an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder, and that supports the rotor shaft in a rotatable manner. A first damping portion is provided between an axial first end portion of the inner cylinder and an axial first end portion of the outer cylinder, and an axial second end portion of the inner cylinder is connected with an axial second end portion of the outer cylinder. A second damping portion is provided between a housing and the axial second end portion. The housing and the bearing portion are fixed by a flange portion provided at the first end portion of the outer cylinder in such a manner as to restrict movement of the flange portion in a radial direction and in an axial direction.

Provided is a vibration suppressing method for a supercharger, the supercharger including a shaft, a wheel arranged at one end or the other end of the shaft, and a housing including a wheel cover accommodating the wheel; the method including a determining step of determining a suppression target oscillation frequency to be a suppression target from among oscillation frequencies of the housing vibrating with shaft vibration of the shaft transmitted thereto, a preparing step of preparing a vibration suppressing unit having a natural frequency to be tuned in to the suppression target oscillation frequency, and an attaching step of attaching the vibration suppressing unit prepared in the preparing step onto an outer face of the housing.

A rotary machine include: a rotational shaft; an impeller mounted to the rotational shaft; an impeller housing accommodating the impeller; a bearing housing accommodating a bearing which supports the rotational shaft rotatably, the bearing housing being fastened to the impeller housing; and a fastening member fastening the impeller housing and the bearing housing in an axial direction of the rotational shaft. The impeller housing, the bearing housing, and the fastening member each includes a contact surface in a direction intersection with an axial direction of the rotational shaft. A thin-plate member formed separately from the impeller housing, the bearing housing, and the fastening member is interposed between at least two of the contact surfaces.

Rotary machine

A state observation device () uses an ADC () to digitize a detection signal from a gap sensor () at a low-speed sampling period and uses a separation unit () to separate the digitized detection signal into vane detection signals considered to be for the detection of a vane of a compressor impeller and non-vane detection signals considered not to be for the detection of a vane. Further, the determination unit () extracts a vane peak detection signal considered to be for a vane peak by comparing a vane detection signal with vane detection signals corresponding to other vanes and non-vane detection signals, and a shaft vibration and tip clearance are determined as states of the compressor impeller on the basis of the extracted vane peak detection signal. Thus, the state observation device () is capable of observing the state of a rotary machine without carrying out high-speed sampling.

An object is to provide a floating bush bearing device with excellent oscillation stability and small bearing loss. A floating bush bearing device which rotatably supports a rotation shaft includes: a bearing housing, a floating bush rotatably disposed between the rotation shaft and an inner circumferential surface of the bearing housing, in the bearing housing, and a bush side oil supply hole which is formed through the floating bush and is capable of supplying lubricating oil between the rotation shaft and the inner circumferential surface of the floating bush, the inner circumferential surface of the floating bush has a non-circular shape so that a gap portion is formed between the rotation shaft and the inner circumferential surface of the floating bush, the gap portion having a predetermined clearance or larger regardless of relative positions of the rotation shaft and the inner circumferential surface of the floating bush, and the bush side oil supply hole communicates with the gap portion.

An illumination device includes: a light emitting element to be a light source; a light amount detecting means for detecting the amount of light emitted by the light emitting element; a light emitting element drive means for controlling drive current supplied to the light emitting element so that the difference between the light mount detected by the light amount detecting means and a light amount target value becomes small; a junction temperature detecting means for calculating junction temperature of the light emitting element; and a setting means for setting the light amount target value in accordance with the junction temperature detected by the junction temperature detecting means.
