An electrochemical cell according to one embodiment includes a solid electrolyte layer having insulating property, a first electrode, and a second electrode. The solid electrolyte layer has a first face and a second face, and allows ions to move therethrough. The first electrode is one of an anode and a cathode and provided on the first face. The first electrode includes an inside channel that allows gas to flow, a third face into which a first open end of the channel opens, a fourth face into which a second open end of the channel opens, and an inner wall face that defines the channel. The second electrode is the other of the anode and the cathode and provided on the second face.

According to one embodiment, an LED lamp includes a housing, a base, an LED module, an LED lighting circuit board, and a globe. The base is attached to one end of the housing, and is supplied with electric power. The LED module is attached to the other end of the housing, and is equipped with LEDs. The LED lighting circuit board is accommodated in the housing, and the LED lighting circuit board is equipped with a lighting circuit. The globe covers the LEDs, and diffuses and radiates light emitted from the LEDs, and is attached to the housing. The housing is formed of resin having high thermal conductivity containing carbon-based filler. The light emitting module is attached to the housing through a heat transfer plate a part of which is exposed from the housing.

A luminaire according to embodiments includes a body portion, a light source provided at one end portion of the body portion and having a light-emitting element, a globe provided so as to cover the light source, and a thermal transfer portion thermally joined to at least either one of the globe or a thermal radiating surface of the body portion on the end portion side. A fuel cell includes electromotive portions, a first sheet, a second sheet, a replenishing portion and a fuel adjusting film. The electromotive portions cause fuel and oxygen to react chemically with each other to produce electrical energy. The first sheet is provided to supply the fuel to the electromotive portions. The second sheet is provided to supply the oxygen to the electromotive portions. The replenishing portion is provided at a predetermined portion of the first sheet to replenish the first sheet with the fuel. The fuel adjusting film is inserted in the first sheet to adjust the amounts of the fuel to be supplied from the first sheet to the electromotive portions.

A current collecting means in an aerial cableway system collecting electric power for driving a self-propelled aerial carriage, is capable of maximization of the lifetime of a current collecting shoe. The current collecting means comprises a current-carrying cable having at least a planar surface on the outer surrounding thereof and a current collecting shoe having a planar contacting surface to be urged onto the planar surface of the cable. The contact between the shoe and cable is carried out in both planar surfaces to prevent uneven wear of the shoe.
