A controller that controls an electric compressor, which is mounted to a vehicle and configures a two-stage compression refrigeration cycle device, has a deceleration section, an operation stop section, and a restart section. The deceleration section reduces a rotational speed of an electric motor by controlling an AC current which is output to the electric motor, when a two-stage compression mode, in which an intermediate-pressure refrigerant flows into the electric compressor from an intermediate-pressure port, is performed and an operation stop request to stop the electric compressor is made. The operation stop section stops the electric motor after the deceleration section reduces the rotational speed of the electric motor. The restart section restarts the electric compressor when the operation stop request is canceled after the operation stop section stops the electric compressor.

Electric compressor controller and refrigeration cycle device

An electric compressor includes a compression portion that compresses and discharges a drawn fluid, and a motor of the compression portion. The electric compressor includes an actuator that includes multiple electronic components and drives the motor, a first casing that accommodates the actuator, and a second casing that accommodates the compression portion and the motor. The second casing includes a discharge passage in which a high-temperature fluid compressed by the compression portion flows. A limiting structure that limits the heat transfer from the fluid flowing in the discharge passage is provided between one of the electronic components and the discharge passage. The limiting structure includes a seat portion that defines a gap between a bottom surface of the one of the plurality of electronic components and the discharge passage. According to the electric compressor, the heat transfer from the fluid to the electronic components can be limited.

Electric compressor

An air conditioner for a vehicle has a compressor, a radiator, a first pressure reducer, a gas-liquid separator, a second pressure reducer, an exterior heat exchanger, an intermediate pressure refrigerant passage, a switching device, and a controller. The controller operates the switching device to switch from a refrigerant circuit of a two-stage compression mode to a refrigerant circuit of a single-stage compression mode when a compressor stop signal is output in the two-stage compression mode. The single-stage compression mode is a mode that blocks at least a flow of an intermediate-pressure refrigerant into the intermediate pressure refrigerant passage and makes refrigerant remained in the intermediate pressure refrigerant passage to flow out of the intermediate pressure refrigerant passage. The controller stops the compressor after controls the compressor to continue operating for a specified time in the single-stage compression mode. The controller restarts the compressor when the compressor stop signal is canceled.

Vehicle air conditioner having a gas injection cycle

In a control device controlling a drive circuit that drives an in-vehicle electric motor based on an output voltage of a DC power source, a capacitor for stabilizing the output voltage is disposed between the DC power source and the drive circuit, and a relay switch is disposed between the DC power source and the capacitor. The control device includes: an anomaly determining device that determines whether an anomaly occurs in a vehicle; and a discharge control device that controls the drive circuit to generate a torque at the electric motor based on an output voltage of the capacitor in a state where the relay switch disconnects between the DC power source and the capacitor when the anomaly determining device determines that the anomaly occurs in the vehicle.
