A high-pressure gas tank includes: a liner having an internal space for holding a gas; a strengthening layer stacked on the liner and having carbon fibers and a first resin; an intermediate layer stacked on at least a part of the strengthening layer; and a protective layer stacked on the intermediate layer and having glass fibers and a second resin. The intermediate layer has higher gas permeability than the strengthening layer and the protective layer.

High-pressure gas tank and method for producing high-pressure gas tank

A silicone composition is provided comprising (A) an alkenyl-containing organopolysiloxanc having a viscosity of 1.0-100 Pa&#xb7;s at 25&#xb0; C., (B) an organopolysiloxane of formula (1), (C) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane of formula (2), (D) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane of formula (3), (E) a filler, (F) a platinum group metal catalyst, and (G) a reaction inhibitor. The composition has a low viscosity and good moldability prior to curing and cures into a dilatant product that exhibits a low storage elastic modulus at a low strain rate and a high storage elastic modulus at a high strain rate.

A system for controlling a gas supply unit supplying gas to a tank includes a pressure acquisition unit configured to acquire the pressure in the tank; and a controller configured to perform first filling for supplying the gas to the tank and to perform second filling, based on a flow rate determined based on a change in the pressure in the tank for a predetermined period of time during the first filling, by controlling the gas supply unit. The controller is configured to cause the gas supply unit to perform the first filling at a first flow rate in a case where the pressure in the tank prior to the first filling is a first pressure and perform the first filling at a second flow rate exceeding the first flow rate in a case where the pressure is a second pressure exceeding the first pressure.

This high pressure gas tank is a tank in which a fiber-reinforced resin layer is formed around an outer periphery of a tank liner by fibers impregnated with thermosetting resin being wound around the outer periphery of the tank liner. The fiber-reinforced resin layer includes an inside layer formed on the tank liner side, and an outside layer formed on an outer periphery of the inside layer. The inside layer is formed as a dense layer, while the outside layer is formed as a layer that is less dense than the inside layer by forming a larger number of airspaces in the outside layer than there are in the inside layer.

For regenerating an exhaust gas particulate collecting filter, there is provided an exhaust gas particulate purifying process in which damage to the filter caused by a thermal action can be prevented and further electric power can be saved when an electric current supply to an electric heater attached to the filter is controlled. In the filter container (4), an electric heater (21) is provided on an end surface of the filter on an upstream side with respect to a regenerating gas flow, or provided at a position close to the end surface. Also, a temperature sensor (22) for measuring a temperature of the filter is provided inside the filter or at a position close to an end surface of the filter opposite to the aforementioned end surface. Further, there is provided a first controller (13) for determining an appropriate current amount to be supplied to the electric heater and also for determined an electric power reducing pattern used in the case of stoppage of power supply, in accordance With the filter preheating temperature immediately before the start of regeneration detected by the temperature sensor (22). A second controller ( 17) controls a current amount supplied to the electric heater (21) in accordance with a command given by the first controller (13).

Exhaust gas particulate purifying process for internal combustion engine

A device for removing for particulates a diesel engine having a filter arranged in the flow of the exhaust gas, a heater for heating the filter, and an air pump or obtaining a flow of air for incineration of the particulates trapped by the filter when it is clogged. The amount of the air for the incineration of the filter is calculated in accordance with the amount of the particulates remaining in the filter at the peripheral zone thereof just after the preceding incineration cycle.

Device for catching and removing particulates for a diesel engine

A filter for collecting fine particles in exhaust gas is equipped with: a multitude of cells bordering on each other and allowing exhaust gas to flow therethrough; cell partitions separating these multitude of cells from each other and having a multitude of pores through which the multitude of cells communicate with each other; and stop sections provided in the end portions of the multitude of cells so as to cause the exhaust gas introduced into each of the cells at one end thereof to flow into the adjacent cells through the pores of the cell partitions and be discharged at the other end of the cell. These stop sections are so arranged that the amount of exhaust gas entering the cells at the central region of one of the end portions is smaller than that at the peripheral region of the same. With this construction, the amount of fine particles accumulated in the peripheral filter region is relatively large, and that in the central filter region is relatively small. Thus, an increase in temperature occurs in the peripheral filter region, whereas it is suppressed in the central filter region, so that the difference in temperature between the two regions is kept at a low level, thereby effectively protecting the filter from damage.

Filter for collecting fine particles in exhaust gas

A particulate trap filter is provided with an electric heater for burning out particulates accumulated therein. The electric heater is provided as a wiring pattern such that a higher power efficiency is provided for the portion corresponding to the portion of the filter located away from the center of the filter and a relatively lower power efficiency is provided for the portion corresponding to the central portion of the filter.
