Provided is a thermoplastic resin composition and a molded article excellent in balance of color developability and low-temperature impact resistance, where a polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer in which a rubber (A) containing a polyorganosiloxane (A1) and a vinyl polymer (A2) is grafted with a vinyl monomer (b), wherein the vinyl polymer (A2) includes 90 to 100% by mass of a monofunctional vinyl monomer (a1) and 10 to 0% by mass of a polyfunctional vinyl monomer (a2) with respect to 100% by mass of the vinyl polymer (A2), wherein the glass transition temperature of the homopolymer of the monofunctional vinyl monomer (a1) is 0&#xb0; C. or higher, and the peak of tan &#x3b4; of the polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer is in the range of &#x2212;125&#xb0; C. to &#x2212;90&#xb0; C.

Provided is a rubber-containing graft polymer capable of reducing wet heat aging of a shaped article while improving the strength developing property of a thermoplastic resin. In the rubber-containing graft polymer of the present invention, a content of components having a weight-average molecular weight of 800,000 or more is 1% by mass or more with respect to an organic solvent-soluble fraction (100% by mass) of the rubber-containing graft polymer, and a phosphorus content in the rubber-containing graft polymer is 3 to 30 mmol/kg.

Provided is a rubber-containing graft polymer which is excellent in mechanical strength such as weld strength or impact strength, required as a rubber-containing graft polymer. A rubber-containing graft polymer (A) of the present invention is a rubber-containing graft polymer having a graft chain, in which when the rubber-containing graft polymer is mixed with an organic solvent and separated into an organic solvent insoluble component and an organic solvent soluble component, a caprolactone unit is contained in a graft chain contained in the organic solvent insoluble component.

An object of the present invention is to provide a polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer powder capable of providing a resin composition and a molded article which are excellent in balance between colorability and mechanical properties such as impact resistance. The polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer powder according to the present invention is a graft copolymer powder obtained by graft-polymerizing a mixture (B) of a vinyl monomer (b1) having an epoxy group and another vinyl monomer (b2) to a rubber (A) containing a polyorganosiloxane, wherein the content of the polyorganosiloxane (A1) contained in the rubber (A) is 12 to 50% by mass, the mass average particle diameter of the polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer powder is 300 to 2000 nm, and the epoxy equivalent of the polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer powder is 2500 to 7800 g/eq.

Provided is a rubber-containing graft polymer that can be uniformly dispersed in a thermoplastic resin containing an alloy in a particle size of 100 to 300 nm and can improve strength developability required as a rubber-containing graft polymer. In a rubber-containing graft polymer (A) of the present invention, a rubber to be grafted has a particle size of 100 to 300 nm, a content of an organic solvent insoluble component in the rubber-containing graft polymer (100% by mass) is 92% to 99.5% by mass, and an organic solvent soluble component of the rubber-containing graft polymer has a weight average molecular weight of 250,000 to 700,000.

To enhance adhesion between a resin and a glass filler and at the same time to disperse a rubber in the resin to thereby improve mechanical properties of a molded body. Provided is a resin composition containing an engineering plastic (A), a glass filler (B) and a rubber-containing graft polymer (C), wherein a ratio of an acrylonitrile-derived component in a chloroform-soluble component of the resin composition is not more than 2.0 mass %, a content of a fatty acid in 100 parts by mass of the resin composition is not more than 0.03 parts by mass, a total content of calcium and magnesium in 100 parts by mass of a dry sample of the resin composition extracted with chloroform is not more than 0.0008 parts by mass, and a content of aluminum is not more than 0.0008 parts by mass. Also provided is a resin composition further containing a salt (D) of an alkali metal and a strong acid. The engineering plastic (A) is preferably an aromatic polycarbonate resin. Also provided is a molded body obtained by molding the resin composition.

The present invention relates to: a resin composition comprising a polyacetal resin (A), a salt (B) consisting of a carboxylic acid and an alkaline-earth metal, and a rubber-containing graft polymer (C); and a molded article formed by molding the resin composition. The resin composition and the molded article of the present invention are characterized in that the thermal decomposition associated with weight loss in a molding process or the formaldehyde in the molded article is reduced.

Vinyl polymer powder, thermoplastic resin composition, and molded body thereof

A graft copolymer capable of providing impact resistance, flame retardance, and color rendering properties to a thermoplastic resin is described. The graft copolymer contains a polyorganosiloxane, and is obtained by graft-polymerizing vinyl monomers including a (meth)acrylate ester (b) having an alkyl group or an aromatic group and an aromatic vinyl monomer (b) on a polyorganosiloxane-based rubber. The graft copolymer has a volume average particle diameter of 200-2000 nm, and contains 0.1-69 mass % of polyorganosiloxane. A thermoplastic resin composition is also described, containing a thermoplastic resin (A), the graft copolymer, a fluorine resin (C) and a flame retardant (D). A molded article is also described, which is obtained by molding the thermoplastic resin composition.

The invention provides a thermoplastic resin composition, which does not substantially compromise color rendering and flame retardance of a thermoplastic resin and has high impact resistance, slidability, and chemical resistance in a wide scope of environmental conditions ranging from low temperature to high temperature. A graft copolymer (G) containing rubber is a graft copolymer containing rubber formed by performing graft polymerization of 1 or more vinyl monomers on a composite rubber containing a polyorganosiloxane (B1) and a polyalkyl (meth)acrylate (B2). The content of a component derived from a silane compound containing a vinyl-based polymerizable group in the polyorganosiloxane (B1) is 1 mass % to 10 mass %. The volume-average particle size of the graft copolymer containing rubber is 300 nm to 2000 nm. The content of the polyorganosiloxane (B1) in the graft copolymer containing rubber is 70 mass % to 98 mass %. An acetone soluble matter is 5.0 mass % or more and 30.0 mass % or less.
