Disclosed is a lighting system that can control lighting using a PLC communications while reducing an increase in cost for equipment. The lighting system includes a controller configured to communicate through a PLC communications, and a lighting apparatus group having a plurality of lighting apparatuses. The plurality of lighting apparatuses includes a master configured to communicate through the PLC communications, and a slave capable of communicating with the master. The master communicates with the slave through a communications that is different from the PLC communications.

Lighting system and lighting apparatus

An illumination control system includes a first type illumination controller which detects presence of a person in an illumination space to be illuminated by an illumination apparatus, the illumination apparatus being connectable to the first type illumination controller, and a second type illumination controller which detects brightness in the illumination space, the second type illumination controller being connected to the first type illumination controller. The second type illumination controller derives a degree of dimming based on the detected brightness, and notifies the degree of dimming to the first type illumination controller. Upon detecting the presence of a person, the first type illumination controller controls dimming of the illumination apparatus according to the degree of dimming notified from the second type illumination controller.

Illumination control method and illumination control system and illumination system using the same

A detector detects first information which represents sensing presence or absence of a person in an illuminated space and represents a position of the person in the illuminated space when sensing the presence, and second information representing brightness of the illuminated space. When external light enters the illuminated space, a controller receives both detected results of first information and second information and controls lighting fixtures in a lump so that the second information becomes a prescribed target value when the presence is sensed. When no external light enters the illuminated space, the controller receives a detected result of the first information and individually controls respective lighting fixtures in accordance with the first information regardless of the second information.

Lighting control device and lighting system

The lighting system includes a plurality of controllers each configured to control one or more lighting apparatuses. Each controller is configured to associate a set of coordinates of a position in an image taken by an image sensor thereof with an address of the lighting apparatus selected as a control object of a particular controller out of the other controllers. Each controller is configured to, when a person is detected by the image processing unit thereof, determine the set of coordinates of a position of the detected person; and, when the lighting apparatus associated with the determined set of coordinates is the control object of the particular controller, send a control signal to the particular controller. The particular controller is configured to, upon receiving the control signal, light the lighting apparatus corresponding to the determined set of coordinates.

Lighting system

An illumination apparatus includes a light source; a sensor which has an image sensor and detects an illuminance and a presence of a human based on a captured image while setting a range overlapping a range illuminated by the light source as a visual field; an illuminance determining unit for varying a light output from the light source based on the illuminance and the presence of a human; and a dimming control unit. The illuminance determining unit obtains an illuminance of an illuminance maintaining area included in the visual field based on the captured image, and when the sensor detects no human, the illuminance determining unit reduces the light output while maintaining the illuminance of the illuminance maintaining area to be equal to or greater than a threshold that is set in advance as a lower limit illuminance, which makes it feasible for the image sensor to capture an image.

Illumination apparatus

An illumination control system includes: illumination apparatuses having respective addresses and perform a dimming control in response to a dimming signal inputted from an outside, and an illumination control terminal which has an imaging device, a capturing range of which is set to include illumination ranges of the illumination apparatuses. The illumination control terminal segments an image captured by the imaging device into a plurality of areas so that the areas correspond to the illumination ranges, detects a person based on the captured image, determines a segmented area in which the person is present if the person has been detected and performs dimming control on an illumination apparatus corresponding to the determined segmented area.
