A bicycle operating device comprises a base member, an operating structure, and a support plate. The operating structure includes a rotatable member rotatable relative to the base member about a rotational axis to control a bicycle component. The operating structure includes a first axial end and a second axial end. The first axial end is secured to the base member. The second axial end is opposite to the first axial end along the rotational axis. The support plate is attached to the second axial end to be movable relative to the base member and contactable with the base member.

Bicycle operating device

A bicycle operating device comprises a base member, an operating unit, and a support shaft. The operating unit includes a rotatable member rotatable relative to the base member about a first rotational axis to control a bicycle component. The operating unit has a first operating unit end supported by the base member and a second operating unit end opposite to the first operating unit end along the first rotational axis. The support shaft extends in a direction non-parallel to the first rotational axis and couples the second operating unit end to the base member. The support shaft has a first end and a second end opposite to the first end. The first end and the second end are supported by the base member.

A shift operating device is basically provided with a bracket member, a support structure, a wire takeup member, a positioning mechanism, and a control member. The bracket member is mounted to a bicycle. The support structure is removably mounted to the bracket member. The wire takeup member is movably supported by the support structure. The positioning mechanism includes first and second positioning members supported by the support structure. The first positioning member integrally moves with the wire takeup member. The second positioning member engages the first positioning member such that the first positioning member has a plurality of operating positions. The control member has a first portion movably supported by the support structure inside the bracket member and a second portion disposed outside the bracket member. The control member is operatively coupled to the positioning mechanism for changing the operating position of the first positioning member.

Shift operating device

A bicycle shift operating device is provided with a base member, a shift unit and a position sensing device. The base member includes a body portion with an internal cavity. The shift unit is disposed in the internal cavity of the body portion. The shift unit includes a movable portion that selectively moves between a plurality of predetermined operating positions. The position sensing device is removably attached to the body portion while the base member is attached to a bicycle. The position sensing device includes a sensor component that senses the operating position of the movable portion.

Transportable image forming apparatus

A bicycle hub transmission includes a hub axle, a driver, a hub shell, a power transmission mechanism and an auxiliary power transmission mechanism. The driver is rotatably supported by the hub axle. The hub shell is rotatably supported by the hub axle with the power transmission mechanism is operatively disposed therebetween to transmit rotational power from the driver to the hub shell through power transmission paths. The shift mechanism is operatively coupled to the power transmission mechanism to select one of the power transmission paths. The auxiliary power transmission mechanism is disposed between the driver and the hub shell to transmit rotational power from the driver to the hub shell through an auxiliary power transmission path during shifting such that a load path of the power transmission mechanism for the power transmission path being shift to is placed in a substantially unloaded state with the auxiliary power transmission path carrying the load.

Bicycle hub transmission and hub transmission shifting method

A multi-speed internal bicycle hub transmission assembly includes a hub axle, a driver, a hub shell, a power transmission mechanism and a shift control mechanism. The driver and the hub shell are rotatably supported to the hub axle. The power transmission mechanism is disposed between the driver and the hub shell for transmitting rotational power from the driver to the hub shell. The shift control mechanism includes a shift controller and a positioner. The shift controller is movable in rotational directions relative to the hub axle to a plurality of orientations. Each orientation of the shift controller corresponds to selection of a corresponding one of plurality of power transmission paths of the power transmission mechanism. The positioner is non-movable in the rotational direction relative to the hub axle and is biased into contact with the shift controller.

Internal transmission hub assembly

A shredding machine has a rotary cutter and a fixed cutter. The rotary cutter includes a cutter part with a spiral cutting edge and a flute, and a column part for rotatably holding by a holding member for rotation of the rotary cutter. The fixed cutter has a cutting edge contacting with the cutter part of the rotary cutter. In rotating the rotary cutter, longitudinal slips of documents are fed between the cutters so that the documents enter the flute of the rotary cutter to cut the slips into chips by cooperation between the cutting edge of the rotary cutter and the cutting edge of the fixed cutter.
