A method of producing a laminated body, the method including a coagulant solution deposition step of depositing a coagulant solution on a fiber substrate, and a coagulation step of forming a polymer layer on the fiber substrate by bringing a polymer latex into contact with the fiber substrate having the coagulant solution deposited thereon to cause a polymer to coagulate. As the coagulant solution, a solution obtained by dissolving or dispersing 0.2 to 7.0% by weight of a metal salt as a coagulant and 0.1 to 7.0% by weight of an organic acid in a solvent is used. In the method of producing a laminated body, the metal salt is a polyvalent metal salt. In the method of producing a laminated body, the organic acid is an organic acid having at least one group selected from a carboxyl group, a sulfo group, a hydroxy group, and a thiol group.

Method for producing laminate

A laminated body formed by laminating a fiber substrate composed of a plurality of fibers and a polymer layer formed from a polymer latex. The polymer layer covers the fiber substrate in a state in which a portion of the polymer layer has permeated among the fibers. A ratio (t/d) of a thickness tof the portion of the polymer layer that has permeated among the fibers (from a top surface of the fiber substrate) to a substrate layer average thickness d is 0.1 to 0.95. A thickness tof the portion of the polymer layer covering the top surface of the fiber substrate (from the top surface of the fiber substrate) is 80 &#x3bc;m or more.

Laminate

A dip-formed article includes a laminate in which a rubber layer is laminated on a fiber base material. The thickness of the rubber layer is 0.2 to 0.8 mm, the rubber constituting the rubber layer penetrates into the fiber base material, the maximum depth to which the rubber has penetrated into the fiber base material is 0.1 to 0.3 mm, and the maximum stress at 50% elongation of the laminate is 20 N or smaller.

Copolymer latex

A rubber formed article includes a laminate in which a rubber layer of nitrile rubber is laminated on a fiber base material. The nitrile rubber contains a copolymer having 52 to 78% by weight of conjugated diene monomer units, 20 to 40% by weight of &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units, and 2 to 10% by weight of ethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acid monomer units. Stress at 50% elongation of the laminate is 20 N or smaller. A ratio of an area where rubber is visible when the laminate is viewed from the back side to an area of the laminate is 15% or less. The thickness of the rubber layer is 0.30 mm or less.

Rubber formed article and protective glove

A dip-formed article obtained by dip forming a dip-forming composition containing a latex of a carboxyl group-containing nitrile rubber, wherein at least one surface is surface treated, a thickness is 0.02 to 0.2 mm, a coefficient of dynamic friction of the surface treated surface is 0.5 or less, and a tensile strength after surface treatment is 30 MPa or more is provided.

Dip-formed article and method of production of dip-formed article

Disclosed is a dip-formed article obtained by dip-molding a latex composition for dip-forming, which contains a crosslinking agent and a latex for dip-forming containing a copolymer composed of 40-80% by weight of conjugated diene monomer units (A) containing an isoprene unit, 20-45% by weight of ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units (B), and 2-15% by weight of ethylenically unsaturated acid monomer units (C), and having a weight ratio of butadiene unit content to isoprene unit content that falls within the range of 60:40 to 100:0. Tear strength is at least 50 N/mm, tensile strength is at least 25 MPa, and oil swelling rate does not exceed 5%.

An image forming apparatus includes a latent image bearer, an electrostatic latent image forming device, a potential sensor, a toner image forming device, a toner adhesion amount detector, and circuitry. The circuitry controls the electrostatic latent image forming device to create an adjustment pattern on the latent image bearer when the image forming apparatus is not printing, controls the potential sensor to detect an electric potential of the adjustment pattern, controls the electrostatic latent image forming device and the toner image forming device to create a test toner image during a printing period, controls the toner adhesion amount detector to detect a toner adhesion amount of the test toner image, and adjusts at least one image forming condition of the electrostatic latent image forming device and the toner image forming device based on the electric potential of the adjustment pattern and the toner adhesion amount of the test toner image.

A recording media smoothness detector includes a sensor and a calculator. The sensor includes a light source to emit light toward a recording medium and a light detector to detect an amount of light reflected by the recording medium. The calculator includes a first memory to store an initial output value of the sensor and a second memory to store a decreased output percentage of the sensor relative to the initial output value per number of recording media detected. The calculator is configured to calculate a decreased output amount of the sensor from the decreased output percentage of the sensor per number of recording media detected, according to a number of recording media detected by the sensor, to adjust a luminosity of the light source based on the calculated decreased output amount of the sensor and determine a type of the recording medium based on an output of the sensor after the adjustment of the luminosity of the light source and based on the number of recording media detected by the sensor.
