A sound output control device includes: an orientation detecting unit configured to detect a state of orientation of a face of a user; an ambient sound obtaining unit configured to obtain ambient sound; an ambient sound reducing processing unit configured to perform, based on the ambient sound, processing of reducing the ambient sound; and a sound output control unit configured to cause sound to be output with the ambient sound reduced by the ambient sound reducing processing unit, when the detected orientation of the face of the user is in a first state, and make audibility of the ambient sound higher than in a state where the ambient sound has been reduced by the ambient sound reducing processing unit, when the detected orientation of the face of the user is in a second state changed from the first state.

An ear mount includes a body part mounted on a conchal cavity and an insertion part mounted on a cylindrical part and inserted into an ear canal. A cover configured to cover an inner housing of the body part with a protrusion formed thereon includes: a first end sealed and fixed to the inner housing; an intermediate part separated from the inner housing to form an air chamber between the intermediate part and the inner housing, and configured to cover the protrusion; a second end located opposite to the first end with the intermediate part therebetween; and an opening located at the second end and through which the cylindrical part is inserted. The ear mount includes a pressure regulator for controlling ventilation of air between the air chamber and an outer space through the opening in accordance with a pressure difference between the air chamber and the outer space.

Ear mount

Earmuffs each include a body portion, and a circular pad portion attached to the body portion and having a contact surface brought into contact with the head of the user during use. The pad portion is provided with slits connecting the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface and open on the contact surface, the slits being cut into the pad portion so as to be gradually shifted toward the body portion in the circumferential direction.

An earphone includes a main body unit in which an outside shape of one edge portion is formed in an arc shape to be fitted into a pinna, a sound tube portion extending from the main body unit to a first surface side of the main body unit, and a supporter for covering at least the first surface side at a side of the one edge portion in the main body unit. The supporter includes a protruding portion protruded toward the first surface side in an arc shape corresponding to an arc shape of the outside shape of the one edge portion in the main body unit.

Earphone and supporter thereof

A vent passage forming structure includes a penetration hole portion, a groove portion and a vent passage forming plate. The penetration hole portion is formed on a housing of an earphone. A space on one side of the housing communicates with a space on the other side of the housing through the penetration hole portion. The groove portion is formed on a surface of the housing on the one side thereof to be connected with the penetration hole portion. The vent passage forming plate covers the penetration hole portion and a part of the groove portion. A vent passage through which the space on the one side communicates with space on the other side, is formed by a hole space that is an inner space of the penetration hole portion, and a groove space that is surrounded by the groove portion and the vent passage forming plate.

A headphone device includes a head pad, a band, and a sleeve. The head pad has a curved shape with a first radius of curvature. The band extends from an edge of the head pad into a curved shape with a second radius of curvature different from the first radius of curvature, and supports a housing, via a hanger, housing a speaker unit. The sleeve has a curved shape with the first radius of curvature and is slidable along the head pad to cover the band so as to change the radius of curvature at a part of the band covered with the sleeve to approximate to the first radius of curvature.

Headphone device

A headphone device includes a head pad, a band, and a sleeve. The band extends from an edge of the head pad and supports a housing, via a hanger, housing a speaker unit at a tip of the band. The sleeve is slidable along the head pad and the band to adjust a length of a deformable part of the band.

A speaker includes a box-shaped enclosure, a speaker unit and a sounding board. A pair of side plates, a bottom plate, a top plate, a back plate and a baffle are assembled into the enclosure. The speaker unit is attached to an opening portion of the baffle. The sounding board is attached to the bottom plate, and includes a member having a fiber direction in a vibration direction of a vibrating plate, a member having a fiber direction in a direction which approaches the side plate (of the front side) as extending from a side of the back plate to a side of the baffle, and a member having a fiber direction in a direction which approaches the side plate (of the back side) as extending the side of the back plate to the side of the baffle.

A voice coil includes a cylindrical bobbin formed of a first material; a coil which surrounds on an outer circumferential surface of the bobbin; and a plurality of reinforcement members formed of a material having a propagation speed faster than the first material and provided on the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical bobbin.
