A material for producing a pad cover molding polyurethane, comprsing a polyol, an isocyanate and an urethane reaction retarding catalyst comprising a tertiary amine blocked with an acid such as formic acid, said material containing neither any fluorocarbon nor any chlorofluorocarbon. The polyurethane material according to the present invention is capable of molding a non-foamed or sparsely foamed lacuna-free pad cover although the material contains neither any fluorocarbon nor any chlorofluorocarbon.

A polyurethane material for decorative parts is disclosed which is a tow-liquid type material comprising a polyol component and an isocyanate component and having a stabilizer incorporated in the polyol component. The stabilizer is a ternary system of a specific hindered amine type ultraviolet stabilizer, a specific hindered phenol type antioxidant, and a specific benzotriazole type ultraviolet absorbent or acrylontrile type ultraviolet absorbent. A transparent synthetic resin part formed by potting this polyurethane material on the upper surface of a base excels in weatherability and lightfastness. Thus, the present invention provides decorative parts which retain good appearance for a long time.

The ornamental and protective molding is described, comprising a belt-shaped support of a synthetic resin of which is coated with a transparent synthetic resin layer having a positive meniscus, said transparent synthetic resin layer comprises a cured polyurethane that is the reactive product of a polyether polyol component and an aliphatic polyisocyanate component, wherein the polyether polyol component comprising diols that are alkylene oxide adducts of bisphenol A and have a number average molecular weight of 3,000 or less is used singly or in combination.
