Functional agent-containing fibers according to an embodiment of the present invention, wherein a functional agent is supported by silicone fixed to the fibers. The silicone includes an acrylic-modified organopolysiloxane having two or more acrylic groups per molecule. A rate of decrease in the functional agent after the functional agent-containing fibers are washed 10 times is less than 40%. In the present invention, the functional agent-containing fibers may be produced, e.g., by irradiating fibers impregnated with a fiber treatment agent A containing silicone with an electron beam so that the silicone is fixed to the fibers, and impregnating the fibers to which the silicone has been fixed with a fiber treatment agent B containing a functional agent. The functional agent-containing fibers may be produced, e.g., by impregnating fibers with a fiber treatment agent C containing silicone and a functional agent and irradiating the fibers impregnated with the fiber treatment agent C with an electron beam so that the silicone is fixed to the fibers and the functional agent is supported by the silicone fixed to the fibers. Thus, functional agent-containing fibers having improved washing resistance and a method for producing the fibers are provided.

A silicone mist inhibitor which has an excellent effect of inhibiting silicone mist and provides a composition and a cured product which have excellent storage stability is provided. A silicone mist inhibitor includes at least one selected from organic powder, inorganic powder and inorganic-organic composite powder, wherein the powder has a volume average particle size of 100 to 4000 nm. Further, a solventless silicone composition includes an organopolysiloxane having a viscosity at 25 degrees C. of 25 to 50,000 mPa&#xb7;s, wherein the solventless silicone composition further includes the aforesaid silicone mist inhibitor in an amount of 0.1 to 10 parts by mass, relative to 100 parts by mass of the organopolysiloxane.

The invention relates to a composition for an antistatic release agent comprising: a release component, a conductive component, an organic solvent, and water, wherein the release component contains a condensation-type organopolysiloxane, the conductive component contains a complex with a &#x3c0;-conjugated electrically conductive polymer and a polyanion having a molecular weight of 20,000 to 900,000, an amount of the conductive component is 1 to 300 parts by mass, relative to 100 parts by mass of the release component, at least one amine compound selected from the group consisting of a secondary amine, a tertiary amine or a quaternary ammonium salt is coordinated to or bonded to portion of anion groups in the polyanion as an ion pair, and the water content is 5% by mass or less, relative to a total amount of the composition for an antistatic release agent. The present invention can provide a composition for an antistatic release agent containing a release component, which can be sufficiently cured, and having superior antistatic properties and release properties.

A heavy release additive for a release sheet comprises a condensation reaction product of dehydrative condensation reaction between (A) a polydiorganosiloxane of average polymerization degree of 500 to 10,000 and has at least one hydroxy or hydrolysable group per molecule and (B) a polyorganosiloxane resin composed of a (SiO) unit and a (RSiO) unit (wherein R's independently represent a Cmonovalent hydrocarbon group or a Calkenyl group each having no aliphatic unsaturated bond), has a ratio of the (RSiO) unit to the (SiO) unit of 0.6 to 1.2 by mole, and contains the hydroxy group and the hydrolysable group in the total content of 2.1 mass % or more and less than 10.0 mass %. An addition curable silicone emulsion release composition suitable for forming a releasable film having a high releasability to a pressure sensitive adhesives simultaneously with good adhesion to a plastic film substrate is provided. A release film prepared by coating and curing such composition on a plastic film is also provided. The good adhesion and the high releasability to acryl pressure sensitive adhesives are realized despite the low content of the organopolysiloxane containing a large amount of trifunctional siloxane units and alkenyl groups which had been used for realizing the adhesion. The addition curable silicone emulsion release composition is prepared by blending predetermined proportion of mixtures of high molecular weight organopolysiloxanes each containing an alkenyl group and phenyl group at particular ratio.

Disclosed is a powder antifoaming agent containing: (A) a hydrophobic organopolysiloxane that has a viscosity at 25&#xb0; C. of 10-100,000 mm2/s; (B) a fine silica powder; (C) a surfactant; and (D) a water-soluble encapsulating agent that is in a solid state at 25&#xb0; C. This powder antifoaming agent is characterized by being obtained by spray drying a dispersion liquid that is obtained by dispersing a silicone oil compound, which is obtained by mixing the component (A) and the component (B), and the component (D) in water in the presence of the component (C), and is also characterized in that the silicone oil compound is encapsulated by the component (D) that serves as an outer shell. Since the present powder antifoaming agent does not contain water by being produced by a spray drying method, the powder antifoaming agent is free from problems of emulsion antifoaming agents such as separation and putrefaction.

A silicone emulsion composition is provided comprising organopolysiloxane, organohydrogenpolysiloxane, surfactant, and water. Two organopolysiloxanes of different type are blended, whereby a cured silicone coating is improved to be fully adherent to plastic film and lightly peelable from pressure-sensitive adhesive. By limiting the SiH content of organohydrogenpolysiloxane, the composition is improved in shelf stability. A specific surfactant is used to control the size of emulsion particles so as to improve wettability to plastic film.
