A gas sensing element includes a gas detection layer including a pigment, the gas detection layer including a first surface; and a backing material disposed on the first surface of the gas detection layer. When reducing gas causes the gas sensing element to change in color, a color change &#x394;L* of the gas sensing element is greater than or equal to 5.

A gas sensing element includes a gas detection layer including a chemochromic pigment, with modifications towards enhancing shelf-life performance and false detection performance before use. The gas detection layer has an adhesion of greater than or equal to 0.2 N/25 mm. A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is provided for forming an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive that constitutes an adhesive face. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises an amino group-containing (meth)acrylate as its monomeric component. The amino group-containing (meth)acrylate accounts for 5% by mass or more of all monomeric components of the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition.

A paint film-protecting sheet () is provided which effectively prevents adhesive transfer to the paint film. The paint film-protecting sheet () has a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer which is comprised of a non-crosslinking pressure-sensitive adhesive () adjacent a polyolefin-based resin film serving as a supporting substrate (). At least a surface portion () of the supporting substrate that adjoins the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer satisfies the following conditions: (1) it has an indentation modulus at 25&#xb0; C. A joined body includes: an adherend; a primer layer provided on the adherend; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on the primer layer. The primer layer contains, as an effective component, at least one of chlorinated polypropylene and chlorinated polyethylene and an amount of the effective component per unit area is 0.5 [mg/cm] or less. The surface of the adherend may be formed of at least one of polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM).

A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape roll includes a bobbin and, helically wound therearound, a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. The tape includes a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive body including a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing bubbles and/or hollow microspheres, and arranged on both sides thereof, a release liner A wider than the adhesive body, and an olefinic release liner B. Disclosed is a release liner having a multilayer structure of at least three layers including two surface layers and an intermediate layer, in which one of the two surface layers contains a high-density polyethylene, the other contains a low-density polyethylene, and the intermediate layer contains a low-density polyethylene alone as its resin component. The present invention relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet including: a laminated structure in which a light-shielding layer, a white or silver layer, and a colored layer are laminated in this order; and at least one pressure-sensitive adhesive layer as at least one surface layer, in which at least one surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet has L* of 30 or more and C* of 3 or more, L* representing a luminosity and C* representing a chromaticness, and in which the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet as a whole has a transmittance of a light having a wavelength of 550 nm of 0.3% or less. The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the invention is excellent in light-shielding property irrespective of the thinness thereof as well as in decorativity due to the surface thereof that is colored with a bright color.
