A power control system includes: an ECU configured to control (i) charging from a power facility to a vehicle and (ii) discharging from the vehicle to the power facility; and a user terminal configured to allow a user to separately set a charging power setting value and a discharging power setting value. When the charging from the power facility to the vehicle is performed, the ECU is configured to control power charged to the vehicle per unit time to correspond to the charging power setting value set by the user using the user terminal. When the discharging from the vehicle to the power facility is performed, the ECU is configured to control power discharged from the vehicle per unit time to correspond to the discharging power setting value set by the user using the user terminal.

Power control system and vehicle

An FCV includes: a driving device that generates traveling power by using at least one of FC energy and battery energy; and a display device that presents an indicator indicating the traveling power that is being generated by the driving device. When the traveling power is less than a threshold value, the driving device generates the traveling power by using one energy of the FC energy and the battery energy without using the other energy of the FC energy and the battery energy. When the traveling power is more than or equal to the threshold value, the driving device generates the traveling power by using both the FC energy and the battery energy. At the indicator, the display device presents information indicating the threshold value.

An FCV includes an FC system and a battery. The FC system includes an FC stack and a boost converter that adjusts output from the FC stack. When a prescribed operation to carry out external charging with a power supply outside the vehicle is not performed for a prescribed time period after system stop (Ready-off) of the FCV under such a condition that an SOC of the battery is lower than a threshold value at the time of system stop, an FDC-ECU controls the boost converter to carry out FC charging by the FC system.

Fuel cell vehicle

An FCV includes an FC system and a battery. The FC system includes an FC stack and a boost converter that adjusts output from the FC stack. An FDC-ECU controls the boost converter to adjust an SOC of the battery to a target SOC while electric power is supplied from the FC stack to an inverter. Then, the FDC-ECU lowers the target SOC with decrease in remaining amount of hydrogen in a hydrogen tank.

An information providing apparatus is configured to be used in a target vehicle and display power feeding facilities on a map, the target vehicle being configured such that a vehicle-mounted battery can be charged with DC power supplied from outside the target vehicle. The information providing apparatus is configured to display an electrical outlet-type AC stand on the map in a manner of being distinguished from a cable-equipped AC stand, when the target vehicle is a vehicle not including an AC charger and a prescribed first condition is satisfied. In contrast, the information providing apparatus is configured to display the electrical outlet-type AC stand and the cable-equipped AC stand on the map without distinguishing between the electrical outlet-type AC stand and the cable-equipped AC stand, when the target vehicle is a vehicle including the AC charger and a prescribed second condition is satisfied.

A vehicle provides information on a plurality of chargers that charge a battery mounted on the vehicle. The vehicle includes a navigation screen and an ECU. The ECU controls the navigation screen to show a map and to show a plurality of icons corresponding to the plurality of chargers at corresponding positions of the plurality of chargers on the map. The ECU controls the navigation screen to show the plurality of icons to allow identification of a charging type to which each of the plurality of chargers is adapted and magnitude of electric power that can be output under the charging type.

Information instrument, information providing system, information providing server, and information providing method

A vehicle, which is a fuel cell vehicle, has an EV mode and an FC mode. In the EV mode, power generation by the FC stack is stopped and an electric power is supplied from a battery to a motor generator. In the FC mode, an electric power supplied from the FC stack to the motor generator is greater than an electric power supplied from the battery to the motor generator. In the EV mode, ECU controls an MID so that the MID displays the instantaneous electric power efficiency of the vehicle and does not display the instantaneous fuel efficiency of the vehicle. In the FC mode, ECU controls MID so that the MID displays the instantaneous fuel efficiency of the vehicle and does not display the instantaneous electric power efficiency of the vehicle.

Fuel cell vehicle and method of control of the same

An FCV includes an FC system and a battery. The FC system includes an FC stack and a boost converter that adjusts output from the FC stack. An FDC-ECU controls output from the FC system such that output from the battery does not exceed an output upper limit of the battery. The output upper limit of the battery is set to lower with lowering in SOC when the SOC becomes lower than a threshold value. A target SOC is higher than the threshold value.

An FCV includes: a driving device that generates traveling power by using at least one of electric power output from an FC system and electric power output from a battery; and a display device that presents a first indicator and a second indicator, the first indicator indicating a remaining amount of electric power to be output from the FC system, the second indicator indicating a remaining amount of electric power to be output from the battery. An amount of electric power that can be output from the FC system when the hydrogen tank is full is larger than an amount of electric power that can be output from the battery when the battery is fully charged. A presentation area of the first indicator is larger than a presentation area of the second indicator.

A vehicle includes: a PCU cooling system; a PCU that is cooled by the PCU cooling system; a buck converter; an auxiliary battery that is charged through a buck operation of the buck converter; and an ECU that outputs a first target voltage and a second target voltage respectively to the buck converters. The buck converter is disposed inside the PCU, performs a buck operation so that a target voltage is generated, and outputs a stepped-down electric power to a power line. The buck converter is disposed outside the PCU, performs a buck operation so that a target voltage is generated, and outputs a stepped-down electric power to the power line. The ECU sets the target voltage higher than the target voltage when the ECU causes PCU to operate.

A vehicle-mountable control device configured to control a vehicle including a charging port for DC power and an auxiliary device includes a determination unit and an information obtainment unit. The information obtainment unit is configured to obtain prescribed facility information about a power feeding facility. The determination unit is configured to permit an auxiliary device driving mode when it is determined that the power feeding facility corresponds to the auxiliary device driving mode based on the facility information, and not permit the auxiliary device driving mode when it is determined that the power feeding facility does not correspond to the auxiliary device driving mode based on the facility information.

Vehicle-mountable control device and charging system

A power conversion apparatus includes a housing including an AC inlet and a DC connector. The DC connector is connectable to an inlet for DC power of a vehicle. The AC inlet is connectable to a connector of a cable for AC power. A rectifier circuit is housed in the housing. The rectifier circuit is located between the AC inlet and the DC connector, and configured to convert AC power input from the AC inlet side into DC power and output the DC power to the DC connector side.
