A laser marker in one aspect of embodiments of the present disclosure comprises a laser light generator, a main body, and a pack attachment portion. The pack attachment portion is configured such that a battery pack, which is chargeable and dischargeable and supplies electric power to the laser light generator, is slidably attached to an outer surface of the main body.

A driving tool includes a first cylinder that generates compressed air by reciprocating movement of a first piston slidably disposed therein. A longitudinal direction of the first cylinder intersects a longitudinal direction of a second cylinder and extends alongside a magazine that feeds fasteners onto an axis of movement of a driving part of a second piston. The first piston reciprocally slides in a direction that extends alongside the magazine. A tool handle is disposed on the side of the first cylinder that is opposite from the magazine in the direction of the axis of movement.

Reciprocating power tool

A power tool has a continuously variable transmission, a condition detection device, and an operation control device. The continuously variable transmission changes a velocity of a rotational output from a drive motor and outputs the rotational output to a spindle to which a tip end tool is mounted. The condition detection device detects a condition of the power tool. The operation control device determines a target RPM of the spindle based on the condition of the power tool detected by the condition detection device, and controls an RPM of the drive motor and/or a transmission gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission based on the target RPM.

A screw-fastening tool having a continuously-variable transmission traction drive includes a continuously-variable transmission, a thrust cam mechanism of the continuously-variable transmission and a clutch plate of a fastening torque setting mechanism arranged in series between an electric motor and a spindle. A traction grease having a high traction coefficient is used as a lubricant for a traction drive. A grease reservoir or felt members in sliding contact with oppressing parts are disposed in a transmission case.

Embodiments of the present invention may include a power tool having a driving motor, a spindle with a front tool and a continuously variable transmission mechanism. The driving motor is configured to output any number of output rotations. The continuously variable transmission mechanism is configured to shift the number of rotations from the driving motor in any ratio and output the shifted rotation to the spindle. The driving motor changes the number of output rotations. The continuously variable transmission mechanism changes the ratio. Both the driving motor and the continuously variable transmission mechanism serve to alter the rotational speed of the spindle.

In a disc grinder, a spindle mounted with a grindstone intersects an output shaft of an electric motor. The disc grinder includes the three-point pressing continuously-variable transmission between the output shaft of the electric motor and a bevel gear train. The bevel gear train is used for deceleration. The traction grease having a high traction coefficient is used as the lubricant of the traction drive. A grease reservoir or felt members arranged in sliding contact with the pressing parts are disposed in the transmission case.

A circular saw in which cutting speed of a saw blade is smoothly controlled. A speed change mechanism of a circular saw includes first and second rotating shafts disposed parallel to each other, and first and second gear trains having different gear ratios and each having a combination of a drive gear and a driven gear as one unit which are engaged with each other and transmit torque of the first rotating shaft to the second rotating shaft. A torque transmission path via the first gear train is defined as a first power transmission path and a torque transmission path via the second gear train is defined as a second power transmission path, and the transmission path is switched between the first power transmission path and the second power transmission path.

Circular saw

A power tool includes a power source, a speed change mechanism and a tool bit. The speed change mechanism includes first and second rotating shafts disposed parallel to each other, a first power transmission path provided with a first gear train and a first clutch and a second power transmission path provided with a second gear train and a second clutch. The power transmission path is switched between the first power transmission path and the second power transmission path while the first and second gear trains are held engaged, by shifting of the first and second clutches between the power transmission state and the power transmission interrupted state according to a load applied to the tool bit. The speed change mechanism further includes a switching retaining mechanism, a switching preventing mechanism, a switching set value adjusting mechanism or a switching mechanism.

A technique for providing a user with effective information in performing an operation is provided in a power tool having a speed change mechanism. A power tool has a speed change mechanism that switches a tool bitfrom first drive mode in which the tool bit is driven at high speed and low torque to second drive mode in which the tool bit is driven at low speed and high torque, according to load on the tool bit. The power tool includes detecting and indicating devicethat detect a predetermined status condition of the first drive mode and indicate switching from the first drive mode to the second drive mode before switching to the second drive mode.

A power tool comprises a crank pin that is eccentrically rotatable by a motor about a rotational axis. A non-rotatable first slider is linearly reciprocated by the crank pin so as to linearly reciprocate a tool. An eccentric pin is disposed substantially diametrically opposite of the crank pin relative to the rotational axis and is eccentrically rotatable by the motor about the rotational axis. A non-rotatable second slider is linearly reciprocated by the eccentric pin in a substantially opposite phase from the first slider so that the second slider acts as a counterweight to the first slider in order to reduce vibrations at least in the direction of linear reciprocation. A rotatable component is rotatably driven by the motor about the rotational axis and has a center of gravity displaced from its rotational axis towards the eccentric pin so as to supplement the vibration reducing function of the counterweight.

A saw blade fixing device is constructed so that a screw flange of a screw body tightened into a screw hole of a spindle is made to have a truncated cone shape, an operating lever is provided to be operable to pivot to a received position and a use position by reversing the operating lever between front and back sides, and this operating lever does not protrude from the truncated cone shape when it is received.

An object of the application is to improve power transmission to a movable element in a driving tool. The driving tool for driving a material to be driven into a workpiece includes rotationally driven first and second rotating elements, the movable element that can move in a direction that strikes the material to be driven, V-shaped first and second contact surfaces formed on the movable element, and a pressing member that applies a force to the movable element such that the first and second contact surfaces are pressed against the first and second rotating elements. The driving tool further includes a first motor for driving the first rotating element and a second motor for driving the second rotating element.
