An acoustic wave device includes a piezoelectric substrate, a first wiring disposed on an upper surface of the piezoelectric substrate, an organic insulator covering at least a portion of the first wiring, a second wiring disposed on a first portion of the upper surface of the organic insulator, and an inorganic insulator covering at least a second portion of an upper surface of the organic insulator. The second portion of the upper surface of the organic insulator faces an oscillation space across the inorganic insulator. The acoustic wave device has preferable high-frequency characteristics and high long-term reliability.

A multilayer module includes a parts-containing module whose circuit board has been mounted at one surface with an electronic component and the electronic component is covered with a resin layer. Connection terminals are provided either at the resin layer or at the other surface of the circuit board, and a through hole is provided for connection between the two surfaces of the module. Also included is a module, which is provided with connection terminals at a place corresponding to the connection terminal, and the through hole for connection between the connection terminals and electronic component. An insulation layer is disposed between conductor layers, the insulation layer having a conductive bond for connection between connection terminals, respectively. Locations of a through hole and an electronic component in the module are not restricted by a location of the through hole.

Multilayer module and method of manufacturing the same

A laminated circuit board with electronic components buried therein comprises a substrate on which a land disposed on one main surface thereof is connected and fixed by solder to an integrated circuit (or the like). A sheet is laminated on the upper surface of the substrate. A filling portion by fluid resin is formed by clearance at the outer periphery of the integrated circuit (or the like). The sheet maintains its shape by woven or non-woven cloth having a hole in which the integrated circuit (or the like) is buried. The woven or non-woven cloth is impregnated with resin having heat fluidity and is thermally compressed. Thus, the electrical and mechanical connections between the laminated circuit board and electronic component can be enhanced in reliability.

Coiled component and its production method

The present invention relates to ceramics and a method for making ceramics having very little dimensional change after sintering and high dimensional accuracies, so that the characteristics of inorganic functional material are fully maintained and utilized. The ceramics of the present invention comprise grains of inorganic functional material and grains of complex oxide. The pores existing between said grains of inorganic functional material are filled with said grains of complex oxide produced by a sintering reaction between an oxidized metal and an inorganic compound.

Method for manufacturing composite ceramics

The invention relates to a magnetic material and a method of manufacturing the same. An objective of the invention resides in providing a magnetic material whose dimensional change rate after sintering is low and whose magnetic property is not deteriorated. In order to achieve the objective, a magnetic material according to the invention comprises a great number of ferrite grains (1) which are formed by sintering ferrite raw powder, and shrinkage preventing grains (2) which are interposed among these plural ferrite grains (1) and which are sintered with the ferrite grains (1) in contact with the outer peripheries thereof and are also oxidized with oxygen so as to change into ferrite when they are sintered.

A composite ferrite material is provided. The composite ferrite material obtained from a mixture of a magnetic ferrite powder with high crystallinity, prepared by firing at a prescribed temperature, and a glass powder, having a softening temperature lower than said firing temperature, by heat treatment of said mixture at a temperature which is higher than, or equal to said softening temperature of said glass powder and lower than, or equal to said firing temperature, to effect the binding of said magnetic ferrite powder by said glass material. The composite ferrite material has excellent magnetic characteristics and can be obtained in a form of the desired dimensions with high accuracy.

A large number of liquid crystal display devices is formed on a single plane, each of the liquid crystal display devices being formed by arranging liquid crystal between transparent substrates which allow light from a light source to pass through. Display portions of the respective liquid crystal display devices are covered by a masking member (23) and a light guide which is formed of light guide devices, one or more of which being provided for each of said liquid crystal display devices, and junctions between the liquid crystal display devices are also covered by the light guide. With this structure, when the light guides are formed such that the junctions between the plurality of liquid crystal display devices are also covered, lattice-like non-display lines do not appear, thereby providing substantially visually uniform brightness throughout the entire screen of the large-sized liquid crystal display and improving the entire image.
